Gossip Girl Fashion Credits: Season 6, Episode 10, The Series Finale

And that’s all, folks! Gossip Girl bid adieu in a two-hour series last night. All ended happily in the Upper East Side: Gossip Girl was revealed (spoiler alert: it was Dan!), Chuck and Blair got hitched, and Dan and Serena got together in the end. And while the series ended, its fashion legacy lives on. To close out the show, costume designer Eric Daman dressed Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg) in an embellished sequined dress with Danielle Queller hoops, while Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) wore an Elie Saab gown. Gossip Girl: Blair Waldorf’s Wedding Dress by Elie Saab

Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester) finally got their fairytale ending during last night’s Gossip Girl series finale! The couple married in Central Park with the bride dressed in a light blue lace Elie Saab gown from the designer’s spring 2012 couture collection. “When I saw the Elie Saab dress finally chosen for Blair’s wedding to Chuck, it was absolutely perfect for her,” Gossip Girl’s costume designer Eric Daman told InStyle.com. “It needed to feel like old world glamour meets contemporary high fashion.” Certainly, the non-traditional color met those requirements. “I liked the beautiful blue hue,” he added. “It reminded me of the wedding dress Wallis Simpson wore during her scandalous wedding to The Duke of Windsor.” Gorgeous!

Gossip Girl Fashion Credits: Season 6, Episode 9

It’s the beginning of the end for Gossip Girl. The second-to-last episode aired last night, and with just one more to go before the series finale, the only thing for certain is that they’re going out in style. Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) looked chic at Bart Bass’s Real Estate Man of the Year party in a blue and black Andrew Gn dress, while fellow attendee Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) was on-trend in oxblood, the color of the season. Gossip Girl Finale Countdown: Only Two Episodes Left!

The end of Gossip Girl is drawing near! There are only two more episodes to go, but there are still so many questions left. Who is Gossip Girl? Will Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester) finally be together? Will Dan (Penn Bagdely) ever be fully accepted back into the fold—and into the good graces of Serena (Blake Lively)—or remain Lonely Boy forever? Hopefully we’ll get closer to some answers in tonight’s all-new episode, “The Revengers.” Chuck finally feels that he has the ammunition to take down his father thanks to the evidence that Lily has provided. Blair remains skeptical and becomes nervous for Chuck’s safety after a run-in with Bart and subsequently recruits assistance from some unlikely characters. When the plane that Chuck is in goes off the radar and ground control loses contact with the passengers Chuck is labeled missing. Will he be found? Tune in to The CW tonight at 9/8c to find out, and check back tomorrow for all the details on what our favorite Upper East Siders wore.
