Chanel Re-Opens Its Soho Boutique

Classic luxury label Chanel just got a bit edgier with the re-opening of its Soho shop, and celebrities flocked to greet designer Karl Lagerfeld and to get a taste of the new store, graffiti-ing one of the exterior walls with Chanel “spray paint” as Alexa Chung spun tunes. Everyone looked incredibly chic of course, including Diane Kruger, who donned arguably the most fashion-forward Chanel frock of the night. “I’ve been wanting to wear this dress for a long time and I thought this was a fitting occasion,” the actress told us. After designer Karl Lagerfeld arrived with Sarah Jessica Parker on his arm, he made a beeline for Gossip Girl star Blake Lively (the two were spotted together in Paris during the couture shows), and the duo chatted for quite some time. Leigh Lezark Stars in New DKNY Jeans Ads

DKNY Jeans’ Fall 2010 ad campaign has arrived, we’re liking the array of utilitarian chic separates it shows: The models, including Misshapes DJ and N.Y.C. nightlife icon Leigh Lezark (center) look effortlessly cool in layers of army green and gray. In a statement, designer Donna Karan explained that she took her inspiration from real New York City street style, which Lezark represents. Our favorite item? Those nubby-knit fingerless gloves. Perfect for staying warm—and stylish—though the coming colder months.
