Lake Bell is doing some good for Oxfam International in a fashionable way. The How to Make it in America actress teamed up with accessory designer Monica Botkier to design a limited-edition bag named the Lake Satchel, and half of all proceeds will go to the poverty and injustice-fighting non-profit organization. The caramel suede and leather purse can be worn cross-body or carried by hand, and the lined interior features zip pockets and a detachable key hook. What’s the hottest trend at the Sundance Film Festival? Look down. We’ve spotted lots of stars in cute boots around Park City, Utah. Zooey Deschanel wore boots by Tory Burch, Rashida Jones tried a clog pair by No. 6 and Lake Bell showed off the latest styles from Sorel. Demi Moore graciously slipped off one of her high heeled hiking boots so that we could get the correct spelling of the label (it’s Vicini) and Kerry Washington revealed that her Coach boots (inset, $198 online) were her secret style weapon. “They’re puffy, so they make your legs look skinny, which is key when you’re all bundled up,” she explained. Comic Con is known for its geeky appeal (think: costumes, comic books, toys, and loads of pop-culture memorabilia). But this weekend, the stars turned the four-day festival into a veritable runway: A-listers such as Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson and Blake Lively were all in attendance to promote their new films. Eva Mendes, there to talk about The Other Guys, rocked a strapless gleaming metallic minidress; Children’s Hospital star Lake Bell went casual, pairing a paper-thin tissue tee with sleek dark jeans. Burberry’s chief creative officer Christopher Bailey brought a taste of London to L.A. this week with a very British tea party to celebrate the launch of Burberry Beauty and the guests dressed in their ladylike best. Lake Bell and Kate Bosworth donned their prettiest, laciest Burberry frocks for the fete (held at Tom Cruise‘s former home), while Rachel Zoe and Glee‘s Jayma Mays sipped tea in the garden. Wimbledon champion Serena Williams wore a sophisticated aubergine silk dress and freshened up her look with the new makeup collection before heading off to the ESPY Awards to accept the award for Best Female Tennis Player.
