Kristen Bell and fiancé Dax Shepard welcomed a baby girl in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon. They named her Lincoln Bell Shepard, and in true quirky Bell-Shepard form, the pair took to Twitter to announce their daughter’s birth with a bit of comedy. “Lincoln Bell Shepard is here,” Shepard Tweeted. “She has mom’s beauty and dad’s obsession with breasts. Hooray!!!” Bell followed up by saying, “My new roommate poops her pants and doesn’t pay rent…basically Dax pre-sobriety. Welcome baby Lincoln.” Congrats to the funny new parents!

Kristen Bell has been making headlines for the Veronica Mars movie that’s about to happen (courtesy of Kickstarter), but we think her chic maternity style is just as newsworthy! And when we spotted her at Ashlee Margolis’ shopping soiree, she revealed that the trick was a complete style makeover. “I’ve worn tighter clothing throughout my pregnancy than I ever have non-pregnant,” said Bell, who went from empire waist Jenny Packham earlier this year to fitted tees like this one. “I love something to contour the bottom of my bump. I think it makes me feel smaller.” And she suggests accessorizing, too: “[I like] statement necklaces, because they drive your eyes up. That’s been a helpful trend for me.” One that keeps things stylish, too!

Who is Gossip Girl? Now that the series finale countdown has begun, we’re getting closer to finding out the answer. Even the voice behind the mystery blogger—Kristen Bell—wouldn’t tell us who it was, though she did say she’ll miss her gig once it wraps for good. “It’s been such an easy, fun, cool job,” the actress told InStyle.com at the premiere of Target’s shoppable video “Falling for You,” in which she also stars (watch it here). “Those are the best words to describe it because there is very little work involved for me. I see the episodes in advance. I go in my pajamas. The only better job on the planet is if someone were paying me to sleep!” And, like many of the show’s devoted fans, she’ll be sad to see it go. “I’ve done it for six years, so it will be a nice hole in my heart,” she said.
