Narciso Rodriguez for Kohl’s DesigNation lands in stores in a few weeks, and we can hardly wait! Neither can the Cuban-American designer’s loyal celebrity fans, including Julianna Margulies, Katie Holmes, and Emma Roberts, who all celebrated his new lineup in New York last night. “I love that he loves women,” Margulies told InStyle.com of why she’s a Narciso follower (he even made her wedding dress!), while wearing the $64 two-tone dress from the collection. “He respects us and he cuts dresses to looks best on a woman’s body. He loves a curve. And this dress? It’s just not going to go out of style.” Rodriguez is thrilled that his pals took to his creations, like Emma Roberts, who wore the collection’s $60 V-neck design. “When you see women who have such great style that look so beautiful, it makes me very proud,” he told us. “I approached designing this collection the same way I would approach my own collection. I love beautiful things, and there wasn’t any holding back on style or design. Kohl’s already has a long list of designer and celebrity partners—Vera Wang, Lauren Conrad, and Jennifer Lopez among them—and now it’s going one step further with the launch of DesigNation. The concept is simple: limited-edition collections by cool designers you already love. First up: Narciso Rodriguez, arriving in stores and at kohls.com in early November. Celebrities including Jessica Alba, Jennifer Lawrence, and Kristen Stewart love the Cuban-American designer’s clean lines and architectural inspirations. He brings all that and more to this collection, but at a fraction of the price of his signature line. First, there’s an adorable puppy, and it’s no big secret how obsessed we are with celebrities’ pets. Secondly, there’s Michelle, who we can never get enough of—whether she’s wearing stripes, sporting polka dots, or just generally nerding out. And last (but definitely not least), there’s Narciso Rodriguez, who designed the clothes Michelle is wearing on her leisurely afternoon stroll. And not only that! These pieces are from his Instanbul-inspired DesigNation collection for Kohl’s, which isn’t even out yet! The line hits stores in November. So, yeah, that’s how “lucky” Michelle and her puppy are.

While no details are available on the line just yet, we hope to see the classic cuts and ladylike shifts that have made him a red carpet favorite with celebrities like Jessica Alba, Claire Danes, and Michelle Obama. Black Friday 2011: Stores to Open at Midnight on Thanksgiving

Black Friday 2011 is on track to be an intense shopping day—this year bargain-hunters will be able to shop just hours after finishing their Thanksgiving dinners. Target, Kohl’s, and Macy’s plan to kick off Black Friday when the clock strikes midnight on November 25th, and doors will remain open for 23 hours. More stores are expected to announce their hours and deals for the Thanksgiving weekend in the next week or so. Tell us, do you plan on shopping through the night on Black Friday?
