Think Like a Man in Theaters: Keri Hilson on Her Scene-Stealing Dress

Think Like a Man is out today, and we caught up with Keri Hilson, who makes her movie debut in the comedy. Though the R&B songstress describes her role as more of a cameo—“don’t blink, you might miss it!”—her only outfit is pretty scene-stealing, even though she’d never pick it for herself. “It was a red and it was flowy—two things I’m not fond of,” Hilson confessed. “My mother’s favorite color is red. I guess it’s just that feeling—you don’t want to remind yourself of your mom too much. But when I’m in character, I love experimenting. That’s the only way I would’ve worn that dress!” See Hilson, and co-stars Gabrielle Union and Taraji P. Henson in Think Like a Man, in theaters now.

Music just celebrated one of its hottest nights: The Billboard Awards! Taylor Swift (left) walked the red carpet in a strapless sequined Elie Saab gown, which she teamed with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and punchy red lipstick. Our June cover girl took home two of the night’s biggest award—top album and top country artist! “The impact of an album is all determined by the fans,” Swift told the audience when she picked up her first. “You’ve just given me another reason to be completely in love with you.” Rihanna (right) also scored big at the event, taking home the radio artist of the year and top female artist honors. Before performing “S&M” with Britney Spears, she posed for photos in a sexy white Max Azria suit. 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards: Must-See Red Carpet Looks

The red carpet fashion at the 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards on Friday night featured a pop of winter whites. Best Actress winner Natalie Portman wore a single-strap white Gianfranco Ferré gown with a black band at the top, and paired it with Fred Leighton jewelry, Stella McCartney shoes and a Christian Dior clutch. Michelle Williams also chose white, her variation being a Balenciaga dress with embroidered floral details. She finished the look with Salvatore Ferragamo shoes and Neil Lane jewelry.
