Celebrities love Jenny Packham! The British designer launched her collection in 2003, which she followed up with a bridal line the following year, and her designs have been red carpet regulars ever since, appearing on Kate Middleton, Kate Winslet, Kerry Washington, Angelina Jolie, and more. “I’m always flattered when someone chooses my designs,” Packham told InStyle.com at her spring 2012 fashion show in New York City. “I think women who like my dresses like to look feminine and classic but with modern elements.” The designer is known for her delicate eveningwear and sweet cocktail dresses with an emphasis on embellishment—a look clients like Jolie and Middleton adore. “I think if you want to emulate their style less is more,” Packham said of dressing the two style stars. “They’re about finding key pieces that have a perfect fit but still have an impact with subtle details and design techniques.” See who else loves wearing Packham’s designs in the gallery!

Kate Middleton’s Brown Boots and Bird Print Dress

The Duchess of Cambridge headed to school today in a brown and beige bird print dress and matching brown boots! For her trip to Rose Hill Primary School in Oxford, England to support the children’s art therapy organization The Art Room, the royal chose a button-front patterned look by Irish designer Orla Kiely. The piece was on sale for $257 on Kiely’s website, but has since sold out. The Duchess accessorized with a pair of brown boots by Aquatalia, available for $398 at nordstrom.com in both brown and black options. Prince William and Duchess Catherine got a Barbie makeover! Mattel is celebrating the royal couple’s one year anniversary with limited-edition wedding-day dolls. Duchess Catherine Barbie wears a mini version of her Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown (and a tiny tiara and sapphire engagement ring!), while Prince William Ken is dressed in his military uniform, complete with doll-sized medals. The replicas are currently available for pre-order on barbiecollector.com for $100 per pair, and they hit mass online retailers this April. Mark your calendars!

New Pet Alert: Kate Middleton and Drew Barrymore Love Their Dogs!

All hail the royal dog! The palace just confirmed that the cocker spaniel puppy seen palling around with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is indeed their new pet. The royals aren’t the only celebs who welcomed a furry new addition to their family this week—Drew Barrymore and her husband-to-be, Will Kopelman, are also the proud parents of a new pooch. Oliver, their rescue puppy, was first fostered by Twilight‘s Nikki Reed. Only in Hollywood!

Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) looked gorgeous in her Vera Wang wedding gown on last night’s episode of Gossip Girl, but did Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) pull a Pippa and upstage the bride? Maybe, according to the show’s costume designer Eric Daman, who had the royal sister-in-law in mind when he picked out Serena’s Vera Wang maid of honor look. “I turned around and saw this beautiful pink chiffon gown, it was actually a bridal dress. It looked like peonies to me,” Daman told us of how he chose Serena’s style. “In old-world weddings, the bridesmaids would be wearing gowns, while the maid of honor would be wearing something a bit more glamorous.
