Rihanna, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, and newcomers Lorde and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were also nominated. The 2013 American Music Awards hosted by Pitbull airs tonight, and music’s biggest stars are filling the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles for a night of celebrating the best artists, songs, and albums of the year voted by you, the fans! Aside from the red carpet anticipation, here are three things we can’t wait to see.
1. The Performances
You can count on seeing Justin Timberlake in all of his dapper glory onstage (hopefully he’ll be dressed in a full Tom Ford ensemble), along with Katy Perry—who is opening the show with her hit song “Unconditionally,”a possible twerking Miley Cyrus, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, newcomer Ariana Grande, and Lady Gaga.
2. Taylor’s Big Night
The country singer is leading the female nominees with five—yes five—nominations, leaving us wondering if Swift will have a repeat of the Country Music Awards and leave the Nokia Theatre with an armful of statuettes. Plus, we can’t wait to see what she will be wearing.
3. The Return of TLC
The ladies of TLC will be making their return to the American Music Awards with a special performance featuring a mysterious guest. Guess we’ll have to watch to see.

Lately it seems as if Tom Ford is Justin Timberlake‘s own personal stylist! Ford designed 600 individual pieces for Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience World Tour, which kicked off at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York this week. Aside from 8 different outfits for Timberlake himself, the designer created original looks for all the backup dancers, band members, and vocalists. This is the first time Ford has crafted an entire wardrobe for a world tour, but he and Timberlake are certainly not strangers — Ford designed the ensembles for the singer’s “Suit & Tie” video as well as his 20/20 Experience album artwork, and also dressed him for the 2013 Grammy Awards. “Justin has great personal style and knows what he wants, which makes designing for him an absolute pleasure,” Ford said in a statement. “He is a tremendous talent and has a kind of effortless cool that makes classic menswear tailoring modern.” Catch all the designs in action by picking up tickets to Justin’s 20/20 Experience World Tour here, some dates still have tickets available!
For Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, a couple who dresses together, stays together! The stylish pair put on their matching suits (sans the ties) to celebrate the premiere of Timberlake’s gambling thriller, Runner Runner at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Biel put her own spin on menswear with a double-breasted Dolce & Gabbana suit paired with an ivory blouse, while Timberlake kept it simple with a two-toned black and blue blazer and a white shirt. In the film, Timberlake plays Richie Furst, a Princeton grad student who travels to Costa Rica to face Ivan Block (played by Ben Affleck), a gambling kingpin who has cheated him out of funds in a game of online poker. Once Furst comes face-to-face with Block, he gets caught up in the gambling scene and soon finds himself framed in a FBI gambling bust. Runner Runner is inspired by true events and opens in theaters nationwide on October 4th.

The 2013 BET Awards were a big night for music, and an even bigger night for fashion! To kick off the stylish red carpet, the ever-adorable Quvenzhane Wallis paired her frilly printed dress with her trademark puppy purse, while Jordin Sparks, Nicki Minaj, and Gabrielle Union lined the venue in couture offerings. Mariah Carey and Justin Timberlake each took the stage later in the night to give stellar performances, and in preparation for the big event, Sparks went for a spontaneous color change. “I changed my hair last night — I literally dyed it last night with this color,” she told InStyle on her caramel highlights. “I really wanted a change and needed the carpet to push me to do it.” That’s the spirit!
