Clark Kent Chic: 14 Super Manly Stars in Geeky Glasses

When Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the men behind the original Superman, first created Clark Kent and his alter ego in the early 1930s, Kent was nothing more than a geek in glasses. But recently, Kent’s trademark look has been getting some respect, with hunky stars like Justin Timberlake, Usher, Johnny Depp, Josh Duhamel, and more taking a break from their usual super man looks to don the retro eyewear, sparking a craze that we have yet to see the end of. So in honor of the latest Superman film, Man of Steel (starring Amy Adams and Henry Cavill, in theaters today) have a glance at some hunky stars in glasses, proving—like Kent himself—you should never judge a book by its cover.

Justin Bieber’s Girlfriend Fragrance Won Two Awards

What does a winner smell like? According to the Fragrance Foundation, it’s Justin Bieber. The star’s Girlfriend scent, a super-sweet blend of pear, strawberry, pink freesia, and vanilla orchid, won two awards at last night’s 2013 Fragrance Foundation Awards, taking home honors for Fragrance of the Year and the Consumer’s Choice category. The latter was a fan-nominated award, which prompted Beliebers everywhere to sing their praises. “When Justin tweets ‘good night ladies,’ tens of thousands of girls say ‘good night’ back,” said Elizabeth Arden executive vice president and chief marketing officer Kathy Widmer. “This gave us a pretty good idea of the response Justin would get when he asked his fans to support his fragrance winning the Consumer’s Choice Award.” And the response was definitely heard — when we polled our readers to see which celebrity fragrance should win a FiFi award, over 37,000 of you voted in support of Girlfriend. The 2013 FiFi Awards are tonight! Highly regarded as the biggest event for the fragrance industry, tonight’s ceremony in New York City will honor the biggest accomplishments in perfume. Taylor Swift will be honored as the Fragrance Celebrity of the Year, and A-listers like Kerry Washington and Connie Britton are scheduled to attend. In April, we asked you to vote on which celebrity fragrance you think should take home an award, and after tallying up the poll results and reading through the comments, the results are in! Justin Bieber‘s Girlfriend scent won by a landslide with over 36,000 votes, while Nicki Minaj‘s inaugural scent Pink Friday came in second with 4,000 votes. Minaj and Bieber are going head-to-head for the Fragrance of the Year in the Women’s Popular category, with Halle Berry‘s Closer and Christina Aguilera‘s Red Sin scents also nominated for the title. Justin Bieber Now Has The Most Twitter Followers

Justin Bieber is the new reigning King of Twitter! The pop star’s loyal legion of Beliebers has propelled him to the top of the Twitterverse with a current tally of 33,348,578 followers, ousting Lady Gaga as the most-followed person on the social media site. (At press time she had 33,339,617 followers.) Bieber has yet to comment on his newly won Twitter crown, but he did celebrate last week when he reached his monumental 33 million mark, creating the hashtag #33millionBeliebers, which of course became a trending topic. That’s the power of the Bieber!
