Julianne Hough Designs Shoes for Sole Society: See (and Shop) Them Now!

We always thought of Julianne Hough as a triple threat—dancer, singer, actor—but the 24-year-old has more talents in her arsenal. The multi-hyphenate added designer to her superstar resume, teaming up with Sole Society to release a capsule collection of fun, go-anywhere shoes that just went on sale this week. “I’ve always wanted to create and make things,” she told InStyle.com of her design process. “I picked exact embellishments, buckles, and fabrics. It was really hands-on!” She created five styles—a peep-toe bootie (Angela), a T-strap flat (Addy), an ankle strap sandal (Gianna), bow flat (Maddi), and zipper sandal (Makenna), all named after her pals. “I think you will feel sassy and fun when you put the shoes on,” she added. “Fashion is supposed to bring out your personality and shoes are the best way to do that.” Click through the gallery to see all of the styles and colors, and shop them starting at $49.95 on solesociety.com and nordstrom.com. The Couples of Safe Haven Celebrate the Film, Plus More Parties!

The Los Angeles premiere of Safe Haven was full of lovebirds! While Julianne Hough (in Alberta Ferretti) and Josh Duhamel (in Ralph Lauren) play modern-day star-crossed lovers in the latest Nicholas Sparks book-to-film project, the duo brought their real-life main squeezes as their plus-ones for the premiere event. Duhamel cozied up to wife and pop diva Fergie (in Gucci), while Hough snuggled up to boyfriend Ryan Seacrest. The film opens nationwide on Valentine’s Day.

Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel Discuss Safe Haven, Plus More Parties!

It was all smiles for Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel, who were on-hand at “A Night with Nicholas Sparks’s Safe Haven” in Burbank, California. The unique event had actors like Hough and Duhamel—who star in the film version of The Notebook author’s novel, which tells the story of a woman on the run from her past who meets the man of her dreams—hold a panel on the film and show unseen behind-the-scenes footage from the set. The movie opens on Valentine’s Day.

Julianne Hough did double dress duty at last night’s Golden Globe Awards! The dancer-turned-actress attended the show in a gorgeous cream Monique Lhuillier ballgown with gold embellishments, and a unique one-of-a-kind earcuff made of a fossilized carob beetle! After the show, Hough changed into a sleeker, more party-ready number by Jenny Packham for the InStyle after-party. Hough flaunted her figure in the curve skimming blush-hued gown, which featured silk panels and exaggerated shoulders. However, her dress didn’t last past the dance floor! “I love to dance regardless of how expensive a dress may be… You can’t hold me down!!!” Hough tweeted along with a picture of her ripped dress.
