Every Angle of Duchess Catherine’s Teal Jenny Packham Gown

May 11, 2012 @ 6:20 pm

Of course we love when Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge wears her girl-next-door Rebecca Taylor skirt suits and Matthew Williamson day dresses, but when she wears a gown—especially like the one she wore to the Olympic-themed concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London tonight—it’s exciting in a much more of Living-the-Princess-Life kind of way. This look, courtesy of British designer Jenny Packham, featured intricate detailing, like a button-up lace-covered back and jeweled waistline in a rich peacock green, teal hue. “I think that Kate has a particular style, and I think that my dresses are quite in keeping with her style,” Packham told InStyle.com at her last fashion show. “I think women who like my dresses like to look feminine and classic but with modern elements.” Catherine’s extras provided great finishing touches, from a matching clutch to her Jimmy Choo shoes to her braided updo. Tell us: What do you think of the look—love it or leave it? Let us know in the comments!

Kristen Stewart has access to some of the most gorgeous clothing and accessories, but the Twilight actress proves time and time again that she’s much more interested in being comfortable! At the Breaking Dawn premiere on Monday, she kicked off her Jimmy Choo peep-toe pumps if favor of lace-up kicks and told reporters her feet hurt due to an injury on the set of her new flick, Snow White and the Huntsman. Jennifer Lopez’s Christian Cota Bandeau Top Is One-of-a-Kind!

Apr 21, 2011 @ 1:15 pm

Jennifer Lopez stopped by a Los Angeles Best Buy on Monday to celebrate the launch of her new album and she decided show some skin for the event! The American Idol judge and mother of two bared her abs in a black taffeta oxidized beaded bandeau by Christian Cota, which she paired with Tibi pants, a Topshop jacket, and Jimmy Choo heels. We caught up with Cota (inset), the designer behind her top, to find out if it’s available, and as it turns out, it is a one-of-a-kind piece developed for his spring 2011 collection. The New York designer thought it looked great on her because it balanced “the femininity and strength she always exudes,” he told InStyle. While this particular top is unique, tell us, would you ever wear a belly-baring look like Jennifer Lopez?
