St. Patrick’s Day Style: How to Wear Green Like the Stars

If you’re stepping out for St. Patrick’s Day this weekend, then we know you’ll want to wear your green proudly! To make sure your look stays chic no matter where you go to celebrate, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite green looks, as modeled by celebrities—no “Kiss Me” tee required. We love the boldness of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge‘s kelly green Mulberry frock—and the solid block of color is a slimming trick! But Jessica Alba proved that a splash of green can make a strong statement, too, by grounding her olive pants with a neutral top and accessories. If head-to-toe brights aren’t your thing, take a cue from Selena Gomez, who paired her metallic mini with peach Nicholas Kirkwood pumps, or Kate Mara, who opted for a subtle mint green Peter Som sheath. That’s a wrap! Awards season officially came to a close following Sunday night’s Oscars, but we’re already eager to recreate the winning nail looks we’ve spotted. We put together a list of the 25 best manicures from the Golden Globes, Grammys, Oscars, and every ceremony in between! Jessica Alba kicked off the nail game on a high note at the Globes, pairing her citrus-toned dress with a pastel pink lacquer, while Rihanna and Anne Hathaway matched their manis to their couture ensembles. Hathaway in particular has opted for fun and creative designs each time she hit the red carpet—at the Oscars, her pale rose nails were inscribed with the initials of her maternal and paternal grandmothers. Tommy Hilfiger’s L.A. Flagship Opening: Jessica Alba, Drew Barrymore, Alicia Keys, and More!

Tommy Hilfiger opened his 6,600-square-foot west coast flagship in Los Angeles last night, and there were plenty of stars on-hand to help him celebrate! InStyle cover girl Jessica Alba (in head-to-toe Hilfiger) and her husband Cash Warren co-hosted the night’s events, which included a cocktail party at the store opening on Beverly Boulevard, followed by a private dinner filled with tasty crab cakes, mini sliders, and other bites at West Hollywood’s Soho House. “It’s really easy when you have Tommy Hilfiger throwing the party,” Alba told InStyle.com of her duties. “You just show up and then you can relax!” And the New York designer brought a piece of the east coast with him—six-foot flat-screen TVs surrounded the patio, broadcasting Hilfiger’s New York Fashion Week runway show to the A-list Tommy girls, including Drew Barrymore and “Girl on Fire” Alicia Keys.
