Anna Faris Reveals the Secret to Her Enviable Glow

Mar 29, 2012 @ 4:35 pm

Anna Faris‘s complexion gives us serious skin envy, so when we caught up with the actress, who recently partnered with Jergens for their Places You Glow campaign, we had to get the details on her skincare routine. Her first step? A good SPF! “I wish I had started using sun protection earlier! I always forget, so moisturizers with SPF are perfect for me,” the actress told InStyle.com. I used to tan, but started using the Jergens Natural Glow & Protect lotion ($9; drugstore.com). An actress I worked with turned me on to the original product years ago.” While she begins the day layering her products, she’s equally dedicated to stripping them away after a long day. “I’m really diligent about taking off my makeup at night, especially after filming. I use a light cleanser followed by Lancome’s Bi-Facil ($27; lancome-usa.com) over my eyes,” Faris said. Click through the gallery for more celebrity-inspired skincare tips!

Twitter Beauty Q&A: Sunless Tanner

Mar 3, 2010 @ 3:51 pm

@ATLClaire said: Need suggestions for gradual self-tanner! I [want] to avoid tanning beds and too much [sun] but need color!

Want to glow like Jessica Alba? We just found out the star is a fan of spray-tanning, and we’re so happy to hear that our readers are avoiding tanning beds, too.  For a gradual tan, look for Jergens Natural Glow Express ($8.99). This creamy, non-smelly formula is hard to mess up and neither unnoticeably subtle nor overly pumpkin, like some of the other formulas we’ve tried. After exfoliating in the shower, apply it just like you would your normal body moisturizer. You’ll get natural-looking, un-streaky color in just a few hours. If you want more glow, just keep using it each day.  (Just be sure to rinse your palms afterwards.) Happy faux tanning, and keep Tweeting your beauty questions!
