Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge stepped out yesterday in a teal, lace-trimmed gown by Jenny Packham—a designer she happens to adore. Previous Packham looks she’s worn include a pearlescent rose sequin gown with Swarovski crystals, a delicate floral silk dress, and an icy one-shoulder satin and chiffon creation. Every Angle of Duchess Catherine’s Teal Jenny Packham Gown

Of course we love when Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge wears her girl-next-door Rebecca Taylor skirt suits and Matthew Williamson day dresses, but when she wears a gown—especially like the one she wore to the Olympic-themed concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London tonight—it’s exciting in a much more of Living-the-Princess-Life kind of way. This look, courtesy of British designer Jenny Packham, featured intricate detailing, like a button-up lace-covered back and jeweled waistline in a rich peacock green, teal hue. “I think that Kate has a particular style, and I think that my dresses are quite in keeping with her style,” Packham told InStyle.com at her last fashion show. “I think women who like my dresses like to look feminine and classic but with modern elements.” Catherine’s extras provided great finishing touches, from a matching clutch to her Jimmy Choo shoes to her braided updo. January Jones Has a Really Good Reason to Wear Blue

January Jones is a celebrity ambassador for Oceana, a non-profit dedicated to saving the world’s oceans. So, with World Oceans Day coming up on June 8th, we asked her if she translated her love of blue seas into her wardrobe. “I do wear blue a lot,” she told InStyle.com at a La Mer and Oceana-sponsored screening at Christie’s in New York. “I’ve love blue since I was a little kid.” The proof is in her choices, as shown above, like bright Versace, sky blue Jenny Packham, electric azure Roland Mouret, and pastel Versace. Now, she has one more reason to love the hue more than ever—her son. (How very Beyonce of her!) “Xander loves blue,” she said. Perhaps this means we’ll see her in even more shades of cerulean, aquamarine, lagoon, curacao, and beyond in the future!

Celebrities love Jenny Packham! The British designer launched her collection in 2003, which she followed up with a bridal line the following year, and her designs have been red carpet regulars ever since, appearing on Kate Middleton, Kate Winslet, Kerry Washington, Angelina Jolie, and more. “I’m always flattered when someone chooses my designs,” Packham told InStyle.com at her spring 2012 fashion show in New York City. “I think women who like my dresses like to look feminine and classic but with modern elements.” The designer is known for her delicate eveningwear and sweet cocktail dresses with an emphasis on embellishment—a look clients like Jolie and Middleton adore. “I think if you want to emulate their style less is more,” Packham said of dressing the two style stars. “They’re about finding key pieces that have a perfect fit but still have an impact with subtle details and design techniques.” See who else loves wearing Packham’s designs in the gallery!

Reporters and photographers swarmed Matt Damon and wife Luciana Barroso as they entered the Naeem Khan fashion show today, making his first-ever New York Fashion Week experience an intense one. “This is my very first show of my life,” Damon told InStyle.com. “I don’t know what to expect! But it’ll be great because it’s coming from Naeem.” The couple, who held hands during the entire show, is friends with the designer.
