With 16 performances throughout the three-hour broadcast, there was a lot to dance along to at last night’s American Music Awards, so we rounded up our favorite performances and onstage moments. Lady Gaga and R. Kelly performed a steamy duet of Gaga’s new single “Do What U Want,” Katy Perry belted out “Unconditionally” rocking a peach kimono and offered a visual feast of colors onstage, and Jennifer Lopez paid tribute to salsa legend Celia Cruz in an exciting performance featuring acrobatic dancers and multiple outfit changes. We weren’t the only ones amazed by the night’s performers, either. “I thought there were so many amazing performances tonight, like the Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World performance,” Taylor Swift, who won Artist of the Year, told InStyle.com. “I felt really lucky to be in the audience tonight and be dancing to all of it.”

Summer 2013 saw a surge in delicate jewelry, from piles of skinny cuffs to stacks of dainty midi rings. But for fall, A-listers are gravitating toward a decidedly eclectic style. Lily Collins delivered a gutsy dose of gilded glamour when she topped off her black separates with a chunky chain, and Jennifer Lopez encircled love around her digits with a sweet scripted ring. With reptilian bracelets, bib collars and more thrown into the mix, there’s definitely something to fit every personality. See the six trends for fall and shop them all.
This Week in Reality TV: Jennifer Lopez is Returning to American Idol and the New Cast of Dancing with the Stars Has Been RevealedSep 4, 2013 @ 2:10 pm
So much in reality TV has happened and the shows haven’t even aired yet! First, Jennifer Lopez is back on American Idol. Yesterday we were so excited over the launch of her 20th fragrance that we completely missed the fact that she will be coming back to redeem her role as a judge for the 13th season. Lopez will be sharing the panel with returning judge Keith Urban and newcomer Harry Connick Jr., as the show heads to Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Detroit, Omaha, Salt Lake City and San Francisco for auditions and airs on Fox this January 2014. As for Dancing with the Stars, the contestants for season 17 have been announced and it’s going to be interesting! Stars including Saved by the Bell alum Elizabeth Berkley, science guy Bill Nye, Pretty Little Liars’ Brant Daugherty, Valerie Harper, Jack Osbourne, Glee’s Amber Riley, and more are putting on their dancing shoes to compete for the mirror ball trophy starting on September 16th on ABC. In a move that challenges Elizabeth Taylor‘s title as the reigning queen of celebrity perfumes, Jennifer Lopez will roll out her 20th fragrance next month! For her latest scent-sational endeavor, Lopez channeled her wild side to create JLove ($49; kohls.com in October), a sensual mix of white raspberry, pineapple, coconut orchid, and Tahitian tiare flower housed in a leopard-printed flacon. “With number 20, it’s a landmark. It’s such a big part of who I am. We decided to call it JLove for that very reason,” she told WWD. While many of the singer’s fragrances had a limited run, a constant element was present in each. “I always want to put a musk base on it,” she noted. “I feel like it gives a nice sexiness at the bottom, no matter how fruity it gets at the top.” Launching 20 fragrances is no easy task, so to celebrate, we rounded up all of them to find out the subtle differences and the inspiration behind each. Keep an eye out for JLove once it hits Kohl’s stores in October, and click the photo to take a look at the star’s extensive fragrance family.
Don’t be fooled by the awards that she’s got—she’s still Jenny from the block! Jennifer Lopez was named World Icon at Univision’s Premios Juventud in Miami last night. During the ceremony, she performed a mix of “Live it Up” and “On the Floor” with Pitbull, then changed into a sequined Zuhair Murad shift dress to accept the honor. “When I see all these images and your beautiful faces, I feel very fortunate to be here tonight. What I have always wanted to do with my life is to create, sing, dance, act, entertain, and be a good person,” the star said in her emotional speech. “I accept this award with a lot of humility and I am enormously grateful.” Congratulations, Jennifer!
