Fans of Lionsgate’s Hunger Games film trilogy are familiar with Capitol Couture, the Tumblr the production company launched dedicated to all things Hunger Games high fashion. Just this week, the studio debuted its second issue for spring, “Chroma Nouveau,” featuring Effie Trinket as its cover girl. (And yes, that really is Elizabeth Banks!) “Heralding a time in the Capitol when color blooms anew, Chroma Nouveau reveals a victorious celebration of Capitol life through fashion and culture,” the site proclaims. And that it does. Featuring wildly bold designs by the likes of Tex Saverio, Nicholas K and Juun. J, the looks show off a mix of avant-guard fashion fit for the Capitol and military-influenced looks perfect for District dwellers. With this, Lionsgate has sufficiently stirred our imagination for the next installment hitting theaters November 22, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, where we’ll see Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) do their victory tour. But until that day comes, we’re hedging our bets on refreshing this Tumblr page constantly for updates.
