Lately it seems as if Tom Ford is Justin Timberlake‘s own personal stylist! Ford designed 600 individual pieces for Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience World Tour, which kicked off at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York this week. Aside from 8 different outfits for Timberlake himself, the designer created original looks for all the backup dancers, band members, and vocalists. This is the first time Ford has crafted an entire wardrobe for a world tour, but he and Timberlake are certainly not strangers — Ford designed the ensembles for the singer’s “Suit & Tie” video as well as his 20/20 Experience album artwork, and also dressed him for the 2013 Grammy Awards. “Justin has great personal style and knows what he wants, which makes designing for him an absolute pleasure,” Ford said in a statement. “He is a tremendous talent and has a kind of effortless cool that makes classic menswear tailoring modern.” Catch all the designs in action by picking up tickets to Justin’s 20/20 Experience World Tour here, some dates still have tickets available!
What’s the easiest way to give your smoky eye something extra? Add some sparkle! That’s what Karlie Kloss did at the FEED USA and Target launch party, where her makeup artist Sir John Barnett accented her sleek Jason Wu dress with a shimmery shadow. “I’m wearing an eye shadow palette by Tom Ford — it has a matte black shade, a sparkly color, and two more included,” she told InStyle.com. “His makeup line is amazing! I also love the creamy illuminator product.” The palette Barnett chose was Tom Ford’s Eye Color Quad in Titanium Smoke, and to recreate her look, we recommend blending the inky noir hue across your lids first, then layering the shimmery color on top. Be sure to use a flat eye shadow brush to press the sparkle on, as a sweeping motion will cause the glitter to fall onto your foundation. Pick up the Tom Ford palette in Titanium Smoke for $75 at neimanmarcus.com.

The Time 100 Gala, held to celebrate the magazine’s list of 100 most influential people in the world, took over New York’s Lincoln Center last night! The festivities included performances by Miguel and Christina Aguilera, as well as a rousing speech by Vice President Joe Biden who asserted to the audience, “This list is unified by a simple belief that it’s all about basically not being told it can’t be done.” Click the photo to see more.
Selena Gomez kicked off the week on a summery note, ranking in Monday’s Look of the Day with her two-piece Dolce & Gabbana number. We loved how she complemented the tangerine ensemble with a light orange lip, so with the help of her makeup artist Karan Mitchell, we tracked down the exact shade she used! “We took inspiration from the tropical colors in her outfit,” said Mitchell, who used Tom Ford‘s Lip Color Shine in Frolic. “It’s a soft and sexy coral shade.” The lip shines, which are the latest additions to Ford’s ultra-luxe product lineup, impart a sheer wash of color that can be layered for a more intense effect.
