Ivanka Trump’s First Fashion Show: See the Looks!

In 2007, Ivanka Trump launched a modest jewelry line. In the five years since, she has created footwear, bags, outerwear, and now: a complete clothing collection. (Oh, and a marriage and a baby.) Joined by her husband, Jared Kushner, as well as her parents, Donald and Ivana, Ivanka previewed her spring 2012 lineup in a fashion show at Lord & Taylor’s 5th-Avenue location in New York City and filled the runway with pretty dresses, pleated skirts, and chic office wear. “Amazing first fashion show! Thank you for hosting it for me @LordandTaylor! I’ll post tons of pics online tomorrow!” the designer Tweeted after the show. The new pieces range in price from $50 to $240. Ivanka Trump’s New Clothing Collection Headed to Celebrity Apprentice

Ivanka Trump just launched her new clothing collection—and it’s heading straight to your TV screen! The rising business mogul will challenge the competitors on Sunday’s episode of The Celebrity Apprentice to create window displays featuring her new clothes for Lord & Taylor in New York City. So, what do the challengers like Debbie Gibson, Aubrey O’Day, Teresa Giudice, and Patricia Velásquez, and more have to work with? Scarf-print dresses, ponte knit capri pants, soft cardigans, patterned skirts, and more—each priced at under $200. “I wanted to build a strong and sustainable collection that is not overly trend-conscious,” Trump told us before the launch. “I wanted timeless glamour.” Check out some of the new pieces in the gallery, and catch the line’s TV debut on Sunday at 9/8c on NBC.

Oprah Loves Ivanka Trump’s Earrings

Businesswoman and jewelry designer Ivanka Trump decked herself out with diamonds to accept one of the first-ever Good Awards hosted by, fittingly, the Diamond Empowerment Fund last week, an organization that helps empower African youth through education. “These are my Oval Os,” Trump told InStyle.com, pointing to the 18K white gold earrings she designed featuring 11.56 carats of diamonds dangling from her ears. “I now call them my Oprah Os because she loves them.” Trump sells the large sparklers for $38,000, though a medium version is $13,000 (3.71 carats), and a small pair is $5,700 (1.23 carats). So, are diamond’s a girl’s best friend? “Absolutely!” she told InStyle.com. “It’s a truism—it’s been true for a long time and it will continue!” Let’s all remember that, especially with Valentine’s Day right around the corner.

The Celebrity Apprentice returns to TV soon! Host Donald Trump appeared on the Today show this morning to announce the 18 members of the fifth season cast, which includes former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza, model Cheryl Tiegs, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Guidice, singer Debbie Gibson, actress Tia Carrere, and more. (See all the competitors at nbc.com/the-apprentice.) The teams will again be split from the start, Boys v. Girls. “Everyone is really competitive,” Trump said of the group. Ivanka Trump is gearing up to launch her first clothing line this spring and here is a sneak peek of what you can expect! “There is a timeless glamour to this collection,” Trump told InStyle.com. “It includes a broad range that goes from weekend to casual to work environment to serious glam and evening.” To illustrate her point, Trump shared a few sketches of some of the looks she created exclusively with InStyle.com, including easy day dresses and neutral separates. The first Ivanka Trump apparel collection, which ranges from $84 for a top to $199 for a jacket, lands at Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, and more stores starting February 1st.

Ivanka Trump’s empire is expanding! After successfully launching a high-end jewelry line, shoes, handbags, and outerwear, the rising business mogul (and new mom to daughter Arabella Rose) is entering the apparel business. Her first collection hits stores this February. “I wanted to build a strong and sustainable collection that is not overly trend-conscious,” Trump told InStyle.com exclusively this week. “I wanted timeless glamour.” The result includes casual day and work-friendly looks like scarf-print blouses, ponte knit capri pants, soft cardigans and patterned skirts, plus a few night-on-the-town options like lace cocktail dresses—all for under $200. “I wanted the price points to be accessible, but ultimately we’re in the business of luxury, and these looks are consistent with that larger messaging.” Many of the styles incorporate subtle Trump touches, like a tassel print or tassel belt (inspired by her jewelry line) or a gold button with the letter T on it. The new line, ranging from $84 for a top to $199 for a jacket, will land at Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, Dillard’s, Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom locations February 1st. What a weekend for baby news! Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner welcomed their first daughter into the world on Sunday, and they named her Arabella Rose. “We feel incredibly grateful & blessed. Thank you all for your support and well wishes!” Trump tweeted. Victoria Beckham also took to Twitter to share snapshots of baby Harper Seven Beckham with her dad David Beckham. The new mom wrote, “We all feel so blessed and the boys love their baby sister so much!!!”
