Ivanka Trump’s First Fashion Show: See the Looks!

In 2007, Ivanka Trump launched a modest jewelry line. In the five years since, she has created footwear, bags, outerwear, and now: a complete clothing collection. (Oh, and a marriage and a baby.) Joined by her husband, Jared Kushner, as well as her parents, Donald and Ivana, Ivanka previewed her spring 2012 lineup in a fashion show at Lord & Taylor’s 5th-Avenue location in New York City and filled the runway with pretty dresses, pleated skirts, and chic office wear. “Amazing first fashion show! Thank you for hosting it for me @LordandTaylor! I’ll post tons of pics online tomorrow!” the designer Tweeted after the show. The new pieces range in price from $50 to $240. Ivanka Trump’s New Clothing Collection Headed to Celebrity Apprentice

Ivanka Trump just launched her new clothing collection—and it’s heading straight to your TV screen! The rising business mogul will challenge the competitors on Sunday’s episode of The Celebrity Apprentice to create window displays featuring her new clothes for Lord & Taylor in New York City. So, what do the challengers like Debbie Gibson, Aubrey O’Day, Teresa Giudice, and Patricia Velásquez, and more have to work with? Scarf-print dresses, ponte knit capri pants, soft cardigans, patterned skirts, and more—each priced at under $200. “I wanted to build a strong and sustainable collection that is not overly trend-conscious,” Trump told us before the launch. “I wanted timeless glamour.” Check out some of the new pieces in the gallery, and catch the line’s TV debut on Sunday at 9/8c on NBC.

The Glee Bridesmaids’ Look: Target and Ivanka Trump!

Glee fans geared up for the Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) and Finn Hudson (Cory Montieth) wedding during last night’s episode, and we were excited to see what the type-A Rachel planned for her big day. Thanks to the researchers at fashionofglee.tumblr.com, we know the hot pink belted bridesmaids dresses that Mercedes (Amber Riley), Sugar (Vanessa Lengies), Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), Brittany (Heather Morris), and Santana (Naya Rivera) wore are from the Merona Collection at Target, and they accessorized with ivory pointed-toe heel by Ivanka Trump. It’s nice to see the costume designers kept the look budgety-friendly and high-school appropriate—the dress sold for $40, though it’s no longer in stores, and the patent pumps are available for $120 at zappos.com. Sadly, with Quinn’s (Dianna Agron) accident, the “I dos” never happened. Here’s to hoping they’ll pick up where they left off when the show returns in April! Ivanka Trump is gearing up to launch her first clothing line this spring and here is a sneak peek of what you can expect! “There is a timeless glamour to this collection,” Trump told InStyle.com. “It includes a broad range that goes from weekend to casual to work environment to serious glam and evening.” To illustrate her point, Trump shared a few sketches of some of the looks she created exclusively with InStyle.com, including easy day dresses and neutral separates. The first Ivanka Trump apparel collection, which ranges from $84 for a top to $199 for a jacket, lands at Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, and more stores starting February 1st.

Ivanka Trump was so inspired by the story of friendship in the new movie Snow Flower and the Secret Fan—in theaters tomorrow—she decided to create a limited-edition friendship bracelet for her fine jewelry collection. Even better, she teamed up with her own bestie and the film’s producer Wendi Murdoch to create the accessory. “The classic tale of the eternal connection between female best friends inspired Wendi and I to create something to capture the spirit of this unique relationship,” Trump told InStyle.com (the mom-to-be wore it to the film’s New York premiere last night). The world watched as Catherine Middleton revealed her Alexander McQueen gown and Cartier tiara as she made her way into Westminster Abbey. The French Chantilly lace and English Cluny lace dress featured long lace sleeves. Some of the most memorable wedding dresses of years past also had lace sleeves, including Grace Kelly‘s gown for her 1956 marriage to Prince Rainier of Monaco, and more recently, Ivanka Trump‘s dress by Vera Wang for her nuptials to Jared Kushner in 2009. “The dress has the same buttoning up the sleeve as princess Grace’s, but hers had a bell skirt,” InStyle‘s fashion director Hal Rubenstein said. Despite the similarities, one thing is for certain, he asserts: “The dress will get copied like mad.” Would you wear a wedding dress with lace sleeves like Middleton?

Ivanka Trump already successfully launched a jewelry line and a handbag line, and now she turned her attention to shoes. After announcing her new business venture last year, Trump’s first-ever footwear collection is now in stores. The spring line ranges from classic pumps and flats to embellished stilettos and heels, and she also included a series of white pairs, perfect for those shopping for bridal looks. “The most exciting part of this venture is actually seeing women wearing my shoes,” Trump told us. “Just the other day, I saw a woman on Fifth Avenue wearing a pair of pumps from my collection. She looked great and so stylish—it was inspiring!” The shoes—which Trump wore on this season of The Apprentice—are available at Nordstrom and online. The best part? Every style is under $200.
