Continuing its push for quality collaborations, Banana Republic has just announced its latest: The retailer is teaming up with Kate and Pippa Middleton-loved British designer Daniella Helayel of Issa London. Debuting this August, the nearly 40-piece line merges the signature elements of each label—Banana Republic’s roots in travel-wear and Issa London’s feminine silhouettes. ”We were immediately inspired by Banana Republic’s heritage of safari adventures when we dreamed up this collection together,” Banana Republic Creative Director Simon Keenan said. Expect fun prints like zebra leopard on Issa’s figure-flattering wrap dresses, as well as pebbled envelope clutches, leather-wrapped bangles, and gold chain statement necklaces. Prices for clothing will range from $70 to $150 for clothing, and $40 to $150 for accessories. Repli-Kates, mark your calendars—raiding Banana Republic stores and bananarepublic.com starts August 6th.

The royal blue Issa dress Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge made famous when she announced her engagement to Prince William in November 2010 is back again! This time, it’s on her little sister. Pippa Middleton chose the same flattering wrap design to attend her friend’s wedding in Scotland this weekend, only in a raspberry red color, and added a matching black and rose floral fascinator. Ironically, when Issa reissued the design in the different hue, the label made a nod to the elder Middleton’s big moment, naming it “Royal Engagement Dress” (available for $555 at net-a-porter.com). Of course, Pippa could have chosen any other look, but why mess with a good thing, right?
