Kate Hudson Likes the Way Women Work!

Apr 20, 2011 @ 2:15 pm

Kate Hudson gushed about her newfound love and second pregnancy for the new May issue of InStyle magazine, but there’s something else she adores that is purely career-related—the way women work. “I just like the way girls do things,” the actress told InStyle at a weekend press conference for her new movie Something Borrowed. “We really do know how to get things done.” She was, of course, referring to her producer on the film, the one and only Hilary Swank. “Obviously there are so many male producers that I’ve worked with that are just incredible,” she continued. “But watching women multitask I find so intriguing because they’re so damn good at it. It was very feminine. They’re very feminine. It’s not like girls trying to be boys. It was a nice thing to see women as women.” Did you feel that? It’s like she just gave all the multitasking women in the world one big pat on the back! Something Borrowed hits theaters May 6th.

The Olsens Go Shopping, Hilary Swank Supports Japan and More!

Mar 24, 2011 @ 1:33 pm

Neither snow nor rain could keep Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen from heading to Barneys New York to support pal Vanessa Traina at the launch of her capsule collection for French contemporary brand Maje. Hilary Swank also braved the inclement Manhattan weather to show her love for Japan at a fundraising event. Even in typically sunny California, Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish and Emily Browning had to deal with a downpour as they walked the rain-soaked red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of Sucker Punch.
