Dick Clark passed away yesterday at the age of 82, and it’s with sadness that we say goodbye to America’s oldest teenager. We first got to know him as the host of American Bandstand, and then he made Times Square a must-see every December 31st with his always-memorable New Year’s Rockin’ Eve show. Over the years, he also chronicled the most of-the-moment singers and stars, including some of our favorites, like Paula Abdul, Hilary Duff, and Mariah Carey. Baby News: Hilary Duff Welcomes Luca Cruz Comrie!

Hilary Duff and her husband, former professional hockey player Mike Comrie, just announced the birth of their first child—and it’s a boy! “Welcome to the World Luca Cruz Comrie!” Duff tweeted. “Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pound 6 ounce beautiful boy.” The new mom then added, “We are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world.” Congratulations to the happy family!

Hilary Duff Owns 100+ Jeans: How Many Are in Your Closet?

If your New Year’s Resolution is cleaning out your wardrobe, you’re not alone. Hilary Duff has her sights set on thinning out her collection of 100+ pairs of jeans. “My sister just did a massive closet clean out,” Duff told InStyle.com at the launch of stylist Jessica Paster’s collection for justfab.com last week. “I was so jealous because she had it down to 20 pairs of jeans and I thought, ‘That’s doable.’ There’s no reason why you need more than that. I have about 100 and I don’t even know what I have!” Right now she’ll be holding on to her favorite pair of black skinnies from J Brand‘s maternity line (shown above right). “They’re so comfortable,” she added. What a week for baby news! Jessica Alba and Cash Warren welcomed their second child into the world on Saturday, daughter Haven Garner. “Healthy and happy! Big Sister Honor couldn’t be more excited about the new addition to our family,” Alba announced on Facebook. Tina Fey and her husband Jeffrey Richmond also became new parents last week when Fey gave birth to baby girl Penelope Athena Richmond (the couple’s second!), and Hilary Duff took to her website yesterday to announce that she’s expecting her first baby with husband Mike Comrie. “BABY MAKES THREE,” she wrote. “We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives.” Congratulations all around!
