Sharpay finally got her man… sort of. Zac Efron helped High School Musical pal Ashley Tisdale celebrate the DVD release of Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure at the Soho House West Hollywood. Also making an appearance at the event was Efron’s former flame (and fellow HSM alum) Vanessa Hudgens. In New York City, Black Eyed Peas frontwoman Fergie serenaded a crowd of Avon ladies to mark the 125th anniversary of the beauty brand, while across the pond in London, Kylie Minogue took in a performance of the buzzed-about burlesque revue, The Hurly Burly Show. This summer, as Grease returns to theaters in sing-a-long form (it’s being billed as “the original high school musical”), and the surprisingly unstoppable Step Up series releases its third installment (in 3-D, no less), it’s clear: Films that feature dance are bigger than ever.
