On last night’s episode of American Idol, Jennifer Lopez continued her streak of sexy looks in a metallic cut-out Hervé Léger bandage dress. She paired the gutsy design with barely-there strappy sandals and platinum bangles. At his spring 2012 fashion show, Hervé Léger designer Max Azria offered a tip for going bold: “Find the pieces that work for you and make you feel good about yourself.” It looks like Lopez followed his advice! We spotted Nina Dobrev at the Hervé Léger runway show at at New York Fashion Week, and we couldn’t help but wonder how she’d vote in our Valentine’s Day Vampire Diaries ”Take It or Stake It” poll! When asked which of her co-stars’ hearts she would “take” and which one she would “stake,” she totally surprised us! “I would stake Klaus (Joseph Morgan),” she began. “But as Elena, I would take Matt (Zach Roerig) because he was in love with her and she loved him.” Zing! Runway Looks We Love: Hervé Léger by Max Azria

Max and Lubov Azria describe their latest collection for Hervé Léger as “a study in seduction and restraint.” The depiction of this was clear on the runway, with equestrian-inspired harnesses topping each of the label’s signature bandage dresses. Though, not every outfit looked like second skin—most flared and moved with the models. The designers’ horseback-riding inspiration also came alive with swingy fringe resembling horsehair (much like the sleek ponytails worn by the models), leather cuffs, and buckle-covered boots. The long gowns that closed the show looked ready for the red carpet, minus the harnesses, of course. See our favorite looks from the show in the gallery!

Metallic embroidery shot through the looks, in platinum, gold, and rose gold, and fluttery hemlines offered an unexpected addition to the label’s classic bandage dresses. What better way to kick off summer’s wedding season than a triple celebrity wedding announcement?!

1. MIRANDA LAMBERT & BLAKE SHELTON
Two of country’s hottest stars tied the knot in front of 550 guests on Saturday at Don Strange Ranch in Texas, Us reports. Lambert, 27, wore her mother’s wedding dress to wed The Voice judge, 34. Guests included Kelly Clarkson, Martina McBride, and Reba McEntire.

2. LILY ALDRIDGE & CALEB FOLLOWILL
The Kings of Leon lead singer, 29, married the Victoria’s Secret Angel, 25, on Thursday, May 12th in California. The bride wore a custom strapless mermaid gown with layers of Chantilly and lace appliqué by Vera Wang. The groom wore Gucci.

3.TAMERA MOWRY & ADAM HOUSLEY
Tamera Mowry, 32, said “I do” to Fox News Channel correspondent Adam Housley, 39, in Napa valley on Sunday, People reports. Mowry had three outfit changes for her big day: She wed in Carolina Herrera, attended the reception in a two-piece Dolce & Gabbana, and later changed into Hervé Léger. Her twin, fellow Sister Sister star Tia Mowry, served as matron of honor. The groom wore a tuxedo paired with Converse sneakers.

Jennifer Lopez’s American Idol Outfits: Top 9 Week!

American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez Tweeted fans asking for some styling help this week: “What should I wear on @americanidol tonight? #creamwithgold or #sparklywithtulle?” And the winner, as we saw on Wednesday night’s show, was cream and gold! Her skin-tight ivory dress with gold buckles was a fresh-off-the-runway look from Hervé Léger by Max Azria‘s fall 2011 collection (check it out here). The following night, during Pia Toscano’s shocking elimination show, Lopez wore a burnt orange blouse by Diane Von Furstenberg ($245 at DVF.com) with layers of necklaces.
