‘Tis officially the season! After a food-filled Thanksgiving celebrities were ready to deck the halls, and they documented their holiday adventures on Instagram. If seasonal festivities of your own kept you from scrolling through your feed, don’t worry–we rounded up all the best snaps from the weekend. From Heidi Klum and Emmy Rossum’s trips to purchase Christmas trees to Sophia Bush’s festive finished product featuring her adorable pups, see which stars have started to get into the holiday spirit.
Your old-school friendship bracelets just got a makeover. Beyonce, Heidi Klum and Rita Ora were all spotted sporting the latest in BFF accessories: Cruciani C. Hailed from Italy, these macrame (the same knotting technique used to make friendship bracelets) lace add-ons exploded in popularity in August 2011, thanks to its famous four-leaf clover design, which continues to remain as the brand’s best-seller. Stack two, three or four, like Beyonce who piled on an arm party with “Crux,” “Hand of Fatima,” “Racquet” and “Capri” in assorted pretty pastels. Or, copy Heidi who mixed textiles and strung the “DKMS Charity” band next to a statement cuff. Rita did the same, teaming her “Heart” with gilded jewelry. Or, simply wear it solo. The threaded wraparound comes in pretty much every color imaginable and in a library of styles, from evergreen to seasonal. At $18 a pop, scoop one up at crucianic.com to get in on the Cruciani craze.
The celebrity baby boom continues! Following recent announcements (or speculation) that stars like Drew Barrymore, Kerry Washington, Olivia Wilde, Gwen Stefani, and more are pregnant, comes news that recently married singer Kelly Clarkson is expecting, as is actress Ginnifer Goodwin (who is engaged to her Once Upon a Time co-star Josh Dallas) and Chris Hemsworth’s wife Elsa Pataky! As we have a few moms-to-be in our own office—and we’re quite certain there are a few of you out there, too—we’re excited to see how these impeccably outfitted stars dress their bumps in the coming months. But until then, we turned to our archives to see what pregnant stars of past and present — like Jennifer Love Hewitt, Evan Rachel Wood, Heidi Klum, Jaime King and Kristen Bell — had to say about adapting their style to their growing belly, plus uncovered advice from designers and stylists like Tracy Reese and Rachel Zoe (who is also expecting her second child any day now!) on the best way to dress your bump.
Ready to read what to expect of your style when you’re expecting?
Heidi Klum has revisited her brow-skimming fringe. Klum recently stepped out with new blunt bangs, and while we haven’t seen that style on her since 2009, the supermodel is always open to changing up her hair — as evidenced by the pink highlights she wore last year. “Because I get photographed a lot, I get bored with looking the same way, so I love to try new styles,” she told InStyle.com previously. “When my bangs grow out, it’s also really cool because you can push them to the side and create a completely different look.” We’re convinced that there isn’t a style that Klum can’t pull off, but she doesn’t get attached to any one in particular. “Sometimes I want something different, and hair always grows back,” she added. That’s the spirit! We want to know: do you like her hair with or without bangs? Tell us in the comments.
