Connie Britton (in Akris) and Hayden Panettiere (in Moschino) stopped by ABC Upfronts VIP Party hosted by Entertainment Weekly in New York, where they gave us clues about their characters’ style for their new country music-centric TV series, Nashville. “I got to wear the most amazing wardrobe,” Britton told InStyle.com. “How often do you get to play a character who wears these gowns and then these cowboy boots, all in a two-week span?” Panettiere also admitted to loving the show’s wardrobe. “It’s country, baby!” she said. “It can be flashy, blingy, sweet.” Catch Nashville this fall on ABC, and see more stars at last night’s hottest events in the gallery.

Hayden Panettiere Designs Jewelry Now!

Hayden Panettiere is a jewelry designer now! “These are chains that my best friend and I make,” she told InStyle.com at Variety’s annual Power of Youth event in Los Angeles this weekend, pointing the strands accessorizing her white top. “It’s a company called Chain Gang. We haven’t really said much about it, but we hand-make them ourselves.” The actress, who was at the event to receive an honor for her work on behalf of The Whaleman Foundation, uses clay beads, stones, and turtle and gorilla skull charms to craft the necklaces, which she calls part-feminine, part-punky. However, her creations are not available for the masses just yet. “We’d really like to start in maybe little boutiques and have it be an underground thing.”

First Look: Stuart Weitzman’s Celebrity-Designed Shoes!

This fall, footwear designer Stuart Weitzman enlisted a few red carpet stars to help him raise money for charity by charging them to design their own pair of shoes! Scarlett Johansson, Michelle Trachtenberg, Hayden Panettiere, and Olivia Palermo all created their own styles for the label’s new Young Hollywood Cares Collection, and proceeds will be donated to ovarian cancer research at the Folkman Institute in Boston. The designs go on sale this Monday at StuartWeitzman.com for $425 to $498, and will also be available at the designer’s boutiques in New York, Beverly Hills, and Chicago. Boxing Champion Wladimir Klitschko Gives Girlfriend Hayden Panettiere Style Advice!

Hayden Panettiere confessed to InStyle at a recent Hollywood party that her style advice comes from two places. First, her friends: “I’m constantly calling up my best friends going, ‘What am I going to wear? Does this go together?’” she told us. The second source is a more unlikely one—her 6-foot7-inch Ukrainian heavyweight boxing champion boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko. “Now he spends a good amount of time picking out his outfits and he picks them out well,” she said of Klitschko’s style, adding that he likes to throw in his opinion for her looks, too. “He does a really good job [at picking his outfits], but now he also critiques my outfits. He’s like, ‘Baby, that clutch—you’re so small. You need a smaller one. It’s too big.’ I’m like, ‘Who gave you the idea…fine!’” And, as you can see from the photo, the work of Klitschko paid off, as Panettiere successfully chooses appropriately-sized accessories!

The Tribeca Film Festival: Julia Roberts, Olivia Wilde, Hayden Panettiere, More!

New York’s Triebca Film Festival kicked off last week, and Easter Weekend brought out the stylish celebs. Julia Roberts and festival founder Robert De Niro celebrated the premiere of Jesus Henry Christ, a new comedy which Roberts co-produced, while Kate Walsh, Jeremy Piven, and Mira Sorvino made an appearance at the after-party for their latest movie, Angels Crest. Meanwhile, Olivia Wilde screened her new film, Sun City Picture House, and Hayden Panettiere showed up to the premiere of Klitschko, a documentary on the career of her boxer boyfriend, Wladimir Klitschko.
