It’s a colorful night at the Grammys, and not just for the fashion. Jack White (who just returned from his tour) and Ohio-born soul folk duo The Black Keys are both nominated for Album of the Year, Adam-Levine fronted Maroon 5 got a nod for Best Pop Vocal Album, as did power woman Pink,who just gave us a reason to love her. Watch Pink’s New Video for “Just Give Me a Reason”

Pink just released the video for her new love ballad, and we’re in love. “Just Give Me a Reason” features the pop singer begging for reassurance in her relationship, and she gets it, thanks to the two men who star with her—Fun.’s Nate Ruess, who sings with her on the track, and real-life husband Carey Hart, who shares a bed with her in the steamy video. The inspiration? Her life. “The truth sets me free on my albums,” the singer told InStyle for our October issue. “I find the characters in my life story are more open to criticism if it comes with a melody.” And if the song’s lyrics hit home, it’s because it brings to life the title of her latest album, The Truth Above Love. “I always tell the truth about how I feel,” she said. “I find it’s better to get it all out before it turns into something else.” Watch the video above and let us know what you think!

Taylor Swift and LL Cool J announced the 2013 Grammy nominees last night, and there were some big surprises in store! Newcomer Frank Ocean swept the nominations with a total of six, scoring nods in both the Best New Artist and Album of the Year categories, as well as Record of the Year for “Thinkin’ Bout You.” Rihanna was nominated for three, Best Pop Solo performance for “Where Have You Been,” Best Rap/Song Collaboration, and Best Music Video for “We Found Love.” Swift, Carrie Underwood, and P!nk also received nods. American Music Awards 2012: Hair and Makeup Details

At the 40th Annual American Music Awards, fabulous fashion wasn’t the only thing that grabbed our attention! Complementing the stunning gowns and jaw-dropping jewels was pretty makeup and enviable hair. Carrie Underwood made a regal red carpet statement with gilded eyes, while Taylor Swift went for a dewy, au naturel finish. Carly Rae Jepsen played up her pretty peepers with winged liner and Christina Aguilera debuted a Cleopatra-inspired A-line bob. Pink’s “Try” Performance at the American Music Awards: Watch the Video!

One of the highlights from Sunday’s 40th Annual American Music Awards was Pink‘s performance of her newest single, “Try.” In an attempt to recreate the music video for the song—which shows the singer doing some seriously challenging contemporary dance moves alongside a male dancer, both slathered in a spectrum of colored paint—Pink opened her act by balancing upside-down on the shoulders of her dance partner, showcasing her incredible strength and flexibility right from the start. She then moved through a difficult piece of choreography, all while singing live, making her performance one of the best of the night. Watch the clip above and tell us what you think!

Pink Dances Like Crazy in Her New Video for “Try:” Watch It Here!

Pink wore more than just her signature hue in her new video for “Try.” The clip, directed by Floria Sigismondi and choreographed by Golden Boyz, opens with the singer crawling on the ground, splattered with paint in a rainbow of colors, her platinum bob tinged with blue and teal. (We already know she loves to change up her ‘do.) She then launches into an acrobatic pas de deux with her partner, Colt Prattesan, and the dance has an undercurrent of anger and resentment befitting the song’s lyrics. The more they dance, the more colors they find splashed across their bodies. Pink tweeted her praise for the video’s director, while teasing her super muscular co-star: “Floria, Thank you for your art and creativity and pushing me to go farther than I’d gone. Thank you to everyone involved. Colt, go do some situps.” Watch it above and tell us: do you like the vid?

The Pink/Gwen/Miley Look: Platinum Hair with Bare Midriffs

Move over, Hugh Jackman! We’ve got some new abs to ogle. And this time they are of the female variety, as Pink, Gwen Stefani, and Miley Cyrus have all been spotted working the bare midriff look and platinum hair. We were initially shocked to see Cyrus make this radical change this summer, while Pink, on the other hand, has had her platinum pixie for a while. (We had to wonder if their matching MTV VMAs ‘dos were pure coincidence!) Then, of course, there’s Stefani, who has dominated bleach blonde hair (often in a pompadour) and ab-revealing fashion for years. It makes a strong case for hydrogen peroxide, don’t you think?
