The young ingenues aren’t the only ones who know how to steal the show! Helen Mirren, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Mary-Louise Parker proved that age really is just a number last night at the Los Angeles premiere of Red 2, their comedy-meets-action-flick about a group of unlikely elite operatives who must save the world by hunting down a missing portable nuclear weapon. The ladies showed off their age-defying figures in gorgeous designer gowns: 67-year-old Mirren chose a jade floor-length Elie Saab number, 43-year-old Zeta-Jones paired a sexy black lace strapless Maria Lucia Hohan design with Neil Lane jewels, and 48-year-old Parker showed off her toned legs in a draped-back mini dress by Memeka, accessorized with a Graziela ring and Finn earrings. Way to work it ladies! Catch Red 2 when it opens in theaters nationwide July 19.

Christina Applegate married her longtime sweetheart, musician Martyn LeNoble, over the weekend during a private ceremony at their home in Los Angeles. The bride wore a gown by Maria Lucia Hohan, and a particularly sparkly accessory on her left ring finger thanks to jewelry designer Neil Lane, the multi-diamond ring shown at right, which matched the groom’s hand-made platinum wedding band, also shown. “We took her engagement ring and fit it in a sleeve of little diamonds to become one with the wedding band,” Lane told InStyle.com. “It’s platinum and diamond inset with tiny little diamonds everywhere. The diamond ring has a border of diamonds around it like a sleeve.” Lane also extended his congratulations to the happy couple: “It was just the right time for them. They’re a very happy couple. There is a great deal of love between them.”

Country’s power couple came out on top at last night’s CMA Awards! Miranda Lambert took home the award for Female Vocalist of the Year for the third year in a row, while her other half Blake Shelton won Male Vocalist of the Year and the night’s top honor, Entertainer of the Year. Plus, together they won Song of the Year for “Over You,” an emotional duet they recorded together. And the night didn’t end when they walked off the stage! We caught up with Miranda’s glam squad—stylist Tiffany Gifford, hairstylist Mara Roszak, and makeup artist Holly Chapman—to get the inside scoop on the star’s looks, including the satin and chiffon gown by Maria Lucia Hohan she wore on the red carpet. “Miranda said if she ever renews her vows, this is the kind of dress she’d want to wear,” Gifford told InStyle.com. “It made her glow.” Find out more in the gallery!
After releasing her album Red on Tuesday, Taylor Swift is taking us on a little trip to Paris in her new music video for “Begin Again.” The clip shows Swift wandering the cobblestone streets of the City of Light, pondering love and seemingly melancholy over her most recent breakup—until she meets a charming stranger in an oh-so-Parisian café. “I’ve been spending the last eight months thinking all love ever does is break and burn and end, but on a Wednesday in a cafe, I watched it begin again,” she sings. And while she’s in the epicenter of French fashion, she tapped Romanian designer Maria Lucia Hohan for the flowing, romantic lavender gown that’s central in her video—you’ll see it when she croons about her new beginning from the Paris rooftops—a look available sans sleeves for $1,272 on mlh-shop.com. See Taylor (and her dress) in action by watching the video above.

As summer transitions into fall, there’s one silhouette celebrities keep reaching for—the ultra-deep V. “I’m always trying to push the boundaries,” Jenna Dewan-Tatum told InStyle.com of her Naeem Khan look at the designer’s fashion show during New York Fashion Week. “Everyone always tries to hold me back, like, ‘Jen, be a little bit more closed.’ This is my nice happy medium.” Zoe Saldana (in Gucci), Nicole Richie (in Maria Lucia Hohan), Lea Michele (in Emilio Pucci), and Malin Akerman (in J. Mendel) seem to agree, all wearing their own interpretations of the exposed look in the past two weeks. “The deep V is a tricky look to pull off but it really plays to proportion and lengthens the body,” celebrity stylist Taylor Jacobson, who dresses Kate Beckinsale and Ashley Benson, told InStyle.com. Her tip: “Make sure to try on before you buy, and stick to delicate jewelry pieces to keep the look classy.” (You’ll notice each of the stars above are necklace-free, hint hint.) Dewan-Tatum also suggests walking out the door with some extra confidence. “You just have to work it,” she said. “Just own it. It doesn’t matter what your shape is. Everyone can wear a version of this and feel comfortable.” Inspired yet? Go for it!

Our eardrums still hurt from all of the deafening screams heard during last night’s Teen Choice Awards, where (nearly) every young Hollywood star walked away with a coveted surfboard prize. Our excitement, however, was more focused on the red carpet, where the ladies of the evening showcased a number of Perfect Little Summer Dresses. Birthday girl Selena Gomez celebrated her 20th in neon pink Dsquared2, Taylor Swift worked her girl-next-door charm in Maria Lucia Hohan, Hayden Panettiere sparkled head to toe in Zuhair Murad, and Lea Michele showed off her tan in a rosy-hued Versace mini.
