The Modern Family actress teamed up with the retailer to create her first collection, which includes jewelry, clothes, shoes and bags. “It’s comfortable and chic, affordable and versatile to wear from day to night,” she told WWD. So, why did she pick Kmart? “This is not a new store for me,” Vergara said, shown wearing a tight leopard-print bustier dress she designed. “When you have kids, you don’t go to Bergdorf Goodman to buy underwear and socks. Made up of cold-weather basics with a hint of flash, the line is guaranteed to get tweens shopping. And let’s be real—even those of us, ahem, a few years past our tweens can appreciate staples like the lace-edged thermal ($14, shown at left in sage, cream and orange) and striped scarf ($10, top left). And considering prices range from $4 to $40, why resist? The Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez winter collection is available through December at Kmart stores nationwide.
