Found It! Fergie’s Red Hot J Brand Jeans

Apr 5, 2013 @ 6:30 am

The oxblood trend lives on this spring: Black Eyed Peas frontwoman Fergie sported a pair of red brocade-print J Brand skinnies, which she matches with a cherry-hued leather top. For a more conservative take on the pants, try the latest solid version ($198; jbrandjeans.com), then reinvent the look with a chambray button-down layered under a navy sweater. So cute!

Found It! Kate Middleton’s $169 J Brand Jeans

Aug 1, 2012 @ 9:00 am

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge is walking around Olympic Village in jeans we absolutely adore. (So flattering! So classic!) The label behind the skinnies is J Brand, which her sister Pippa also likes, the 811 Mid-Rise Skinny Leg in navy twill, to be exact. Find the cotton-lycra bottoms (we love the stretch in these) for $169 at jbrandjeans.com. And if you want a full head-to-toe royal look, finish it off with Middleton’s wedges, the Corkswoon style from Stuart Weitzman. While the Duchess’s blue suede style is no longer available, you can find the same look in white, black, or nude patent for $191 (down from $375) at zappos.com.

Christopher Kane to Launch Collection With J Brand Jeans

Feb 24, 2011 @ 5:55 pm

Good news, denim lovers: J Brand just announced that it will collaborate with British designer Christopher Kane to launch a capsule collection for his 2012 resort collection. Kane, who just showed his fall collection during London Fashion Week last weekend, has collaborated with J Brand before—last year, J Brand founder Jeff Rudes recruited Kane for the labels 5×5 project, which tapped five British designers to create a pair of jeans (Kane’s camo style, shown left, retailed for $500). After their first successful partnership, Rudes is excited for what’s to come: “We are delighted to be working with Christopher to build a long term viable denim business with him,” Rudes said in a statement. J Brand has previously partnered with Proenza Schouler, Hussein Chalayan, Henry Duarte, and Erdem.
