How to Wear Floral Jeans Like a Celebrity

May flowers are springing up everywhere—including on the pants of many celebrities. What we love most about this season’s crop of floral bottoms is how they can be worn in different ways. Katie Holmes went for girly daytime pastels in Current/Elliott, Shenae Grimes gave her look some edge pairing her Alice + Olivia pants with studded boots and leather top, Minka Kelly added sex appeal with her bright peep-toes and Dolce & Gabbana florals, and Kristin Cavallari looked business meeting-ready by layering a black blazer over her saturated darker Joe’s jeans. These ladies prove pretty posies work for almost any occasion—it’s just about mixing the outfit to work for you. Click through the gallery to see more celebrities in the look, and find out where to shop their styles.

Jul 12, 2011 @ 3:10 pm

Stylists and denim designers Emily Current and Meritt Elliott have teamed up with Kate Spade to launch a handbag collection! The line, titled Westward, was inspired by a cross-country road trip, and includes everything from sequined duffels to office-ready laptop bags ranging in price from $245 to $1,295. “As stylists, designers and women on the move, we’ve identified the essential elements, in look and function, that we both need and love in our bags.” Current and Elliott told us. Marni and Current/Elliott Team Up

Apr 15, 2010 @ 11:38 am

We love a good designer denim collaboration—Lanvin’s ongoing partnership with Acne, Proenza Schouler’s recent one-off collection for J. Brand—and now Marni and Current/Elliott are teaming up for a jean line of their own. Combining the Italian label’s colorful whimsy with Current/Elliott’s Americana approach to denim, the collection pairs artful tees with embellished versions of Current/Elliott’s cult boyfriend jeans.  Current/Elliott + Marni hits Marni boutiques and select department stores in June.
