It doesn’t get more glamorous than this at Cannes! The annual amfAR Cinema Against Aids Gala is traditionally the biggest red carpet event of the Cannes Film Festival, and the turnout at last night’s 20th anniversary of the event didn’t disappoint. Olivia Palermo (in Roberto Cavalli), Jessica Chastain (in Saint Laurent), Heidi Klum (in Marchesa), and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (in Dior), all came for the festivities to raise awareness and funds for amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, which is dedicated to research, prevention, and education for the disease. The night included dinner, dancing, and, as a special treat, a live fashion show sponsored by the World Gold Council’s LoveGold initiative where 38 models walked the runway in glittering gold designs for The Ultimate Gold Collection Fashion Show. Supermodel mom Heidi Klum went for a seaside stroll sporting BCBG Max Azria’s silky Gia style. The contrasting stripes and the breezy high-low hem give this look a flirty appeal. Heidi went barefoot while on the beach, but for a more dressed-up take, the dress would also look great with strappy heels. Shop the style for $548 at bcbg.com.

Heidi Klum, Taylor Momsen, Hannah Simone, and More Stars Celebrate Donatella Versace’s New CollectionsMay 16, 2013 @ 6:09 pm
Heidi Klum, Taylor Momsen, and Hannah Simone were among the many stars who came out to celebrate the reveal of Donatella Versace’s two new collections for Versus Versace Wednesday night at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City. The event stood out for showcasing both London designer J.W. Anderson’s one-off capsule collection for the brand, as well as a revamped archival line for Versus Versace. Combining both music and fashion, the models showed off the looks in groups as musical acts—including Grimes, Angel Haze and Dead Sara—performed throughout. “The launch of Versus Versace brought together everything that I love: fashion, music, DJs, young people and their amazing energy,” Donatella said. “This mix of music and fashion captures the essence of Versus Versace, a label for a new global tribe.” Shop the Versus Versace line now at versusversace.com and J.W. Anderson’s capsule collection come June 15. Plus, see more of last night’s parties by clicking the photo above.

As soon as the red carpet rolled up following the 85th Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre, Hollywood’s brightest stars hit the party circuit for the all-night festivities! Adele (in Jenny Packham) was all smiles at the Governors Ball, the official after-party held just five floors up from the Oscars stage, posing with the golden statue she nabbed for Best Original Song for “Skyfall.” (“Watch the dress!,” she kindly told guests who kept stepping on her train.) Across town, two annual soirees continued their must-see appeal: Vanity Fair’s epic annual bash heated up with Jennifer Aniston, who posed with legendary designer Valentino Garavani, and Elton John’s 21st annual viewing party, which included guests like Heidi Klum (in Julien MacDonald), also raised money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation. “I love that Elton gets all these people out every year, and he makes a fun night into a very important night,” Klum told InStyle.com. “He’s raised more than $300 million dollars since 1992, and people show up!”

Heidi Klum just released her fourth scent, Surprise, this month, so when we caught up with the Project Runway host at the show’s finale runway show during New York Fashion Week, we had to wonder what surprises her most. “I had four, they were all my surprises,” the model told InStyle.com, referring to her children Leni, Henry, Johan, and Lou. “When they came out, that was the biggest surprise. Even though before you do mammograms, you kind of feel like you think what they’re going to look like, but when you look in the eyes and the face of your child for the first time, that is always the biggest surprise.” Too sweet! Just like her scent, which blends colorful notes like magnolia, rose petals, and pink pepper, bottled up in ribbon-inspired flacon. Find Surprise at drugstores nationwide for $28.
