Cathy Waterman’s jewelry always lands on the red carpet—adorning Nicole Kidman, Leighton Meester, Julia Roberts, and more—and now her pieces are headed to the big screen! Waterman designed a special collection of pieces for next year’s release of Snow White and the Huntsman. The Evil Queen, played by Charlize Theron, can be seen in the trailer wearing a pair of 22k recycled gold vine frame earrings with black sapphires and diamonds. Sounds like a match made in fairytale heaven!

Kate Middleton’s Tiara: Jewelry Designers Sketch Dream Tiaras

According to tradition, a royal bride wears a tiara on her wedding day. Queen Elizabeth II wore a tiara for her wedding to the Duke of Edinburgh, as did Princess Diana, who wore the famous diamond Spencer tiara, a family heirloom piece. What tiara will princess-to-be Kate Middleton wear if she so chooses to for her April 29th nuptials to Prince William? A likely conclusion would be that the Queen will lend her a tiara from the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom collection. However, in anticipation of this momentous royal accessory, InStyle tapped the creative minds of some of our favorite jewelry designers to see what they would design for Middleton’s special day. Check Out Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer’s Wedding Bands!

We already dished on Anna Paquin‘s 50-carat Neil Lane diamond necklace she wore for her weekend nuptials to Stephen Moyer and now we’ve got the scoop on the couple’s wedding bands. The True Blood stars asked long-time friend and jeweler, Cathy Waterman, to custom-design the platinum bands, using Paquin’s rough-cut antique diamond engagement ring by the designer as inspiration. “I have been friends with Stephen forever. Watching him fall in love with Anna was magical. He lights up around her…and she glows when he is around,” Waterman told us exclusively. “He put such thought and care into the ring that he proposed with…hours looking into stones, looking for the reflection that said ‘Anna.’ And he nailed it. I handmade their wedding bands, and seeing them as they walked down the aisle—I knew they were just right.” The couple showed off their new rings in L.A. on Monday.
