With Black Friday and Cyber Monday behind us, retailers continue to spread the season’s cheer with festive window displays. Club Monaco created an old-meets-new feel at its Fifth Avenue store by juxtaposing the merchandise with antique items such as old maps, telescopes and frames, while Bulgari decorated its storefront with an illuminated installation of a serpent, the house’s symbol. What a show! Madonna scored big with her half-time show during last night’s Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis. Her 12-minute set—in which she dressed in head-to-toe Givenchy, Bulgari earrings, and a Philip Treacy headdress—included some of her biggest hits, like “Vogue,” “Music,” “Express Yourself,” mixed in with her new single, “Give Me All Your Luvin’” featuring cheerleaders M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj, and even a Material Girl-remix of “Party Rock Anthem” with LMFAO. For her finale, she performed “Like a Prayer,” joined by a choir and Cee Lo Green. “People say everything has a limit, but limits do not exist with Madonna,” said Givenchy Haute Couture designer Riccardo Tisci, who created all of her looks for the show. Kirsten Dunst also posed with the king of the jungle in a previous perfume campaign for the brand, and Julianne Moore cuddled a pair of lion cubs and played perch to cockatoos in the label’s 2010 campaigns. Kirsten Dunst is the new face of Bulgari‘s Mon Jasmin Noir fragrance and the campaign shots were just released! In them, Dunst clutches her perfume bottle while sitting next to an adult lion. We’d be surprised to see a star cuddling up to the king of the jungle, but it isn’t the first time the luxury Italian label used the celebrity-plus-wild-feline formula. Julianne Moore also posed nude with lion cubs for a Bulgari handbag campaign last season. The new fragrance, a lighter version of the label’s Jasmin Noir scent, is now available exclusively at Nordstrom for $80 to $105.
