Runway Looks We Love: Elie Saab

Mar 8, 2012 @ 6:00 pm

Elie Saab’s fall collection focused on accentuating the female form. For day, the designer offered feminine bow blouses, monochromatic suiting, and dresses with strategically-placed black panels that created a slimming silhouette. Saab’s signature red carpet stunners (recently seen on Berenice Bejo, Jessica Chastain, and Nina Dobrev) turned up in emerald, gold, and silver, some with daringly-high slits. Runway Looks We Love: Louis Vuitton

Mar 7, 2012 @ 5:40 pm

All aboard! For Louis Vuitton‘s fall 2012 runway show, designer Marc Jacobs created an elaborate set complete with a real train. Porters carried chic LV luggage behind the models, who were dressed in layered looks with exaggerated proportions and intricate embroidery. Each outfit was topped off with an oversize Stephen Jones hat (just like at Marc Jacobs’s fall 2012 show!), and sky-high ankle-strap pumps, huge round sunglasses, and a handbags for every occasion—from evening to travel—rounded out the collection.
