Country’s biggest stars turned Las Vegas into NashVegas last night! Keith Urban, Faith Hill (in Chado Ralph Rucci), Taylor Swift (in Naeem Khan), Tim McGraw, and more ventured west to the glitzy MGM Grand Garden Arena for the 48th annual ceremony for the mega-country celebration. Luke Bryan, who also co-hosted the evening with The Voice judge Blake Shelton, took home the evening’s biggest fan-voted honor, the Entertainer of the Year award, only made that much more special by the fact 1.1 million fans casted their votes, while southern newcomers Florida Georgia Line won the other fan-voted category, New Artist of the Year. Miranda Lambert took home the Female Vocalist of the Year prize for the fourth year in a row, making her only the third artist ever (after country legends Reba McEntire and Loretta Lynn) to win the honor four or more times. After belting her “American Heart” out on the CMA Awards last week, Faith Hill has just released the song’s music video! The footage opens with a number of cute tykes saying why they love America, including this adorable nugget from one spunky little girl: “It’s better than anything in the world, probably.” The patriotic anthem seems especially poignant in light of the recent Hurricane Sandy tragedy (click here to donate to relief efforts!), with lyrics like, “It bleeds, it scars, but it shines when times get —you can’t break an American heart.” As for Faith, she looks as incredible as ever as she dances Michael Jackson-style with an adorable little boy, and shows off her powerful pipes in front of a giant lit-up heart that beams with our nation’s iconic stars and stripes. Check out the video above and let us know what you think.

More than a ceremony, the CMA Awards are a concert! The night included 19 performances at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville last night, as well as one special salute to living legend Willie Nelson. The highlights included country queen Faith Hill’s two-times on the stage—she wore the same pour-her-into-them leather pants for both—and Vocal Group of the Year Little Big Town performing “Pontoon” in coordinating sassy black looks. And we knew we could count on Taylor Swift to girl it up in her new favorite color red, as she wore a sweet sundress to perform her new single “Begin Again.” Click through the gallery to see more performance looks!
There’s no better place for big, blonde hairstyle inspiration than the CMA Awards! We loved Faith Hill‘s side-swept waves, Miranda Lambert‘s bumped-up updo, and Carrie Underwood‘s pinned-to-the-side curly ponytail. Tell us: Which style did you like best? Let us know by voting in the poll below!

Searching for last-minute date ideas? Country couple Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, who celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary in October, have a few suggestions. ”Think about what means the most to your partner instead of being pressured to do something outrageous,” Hill told InStyle.com exclusively. “Less is more, and it’s not always about jewelry and fancy restaurants.” McGraw agreed: “Faith is right, I love her sense of humor, and when we simply spend time together.” How sweet! The couple just released their new Soul2Soul fragrances, available for both men and women ($32 each; ulta.com).
