A handful of major models have stepped beyond the runway to flex their design chops recently. Erin Wasson lent her chic bohemian style to surf and skate brand RVCA for a womenswear collection and started an edgy silver-heavy costume jewelry line Low Luv, while Coco Rocha debuted a design from her new line, Rococo, at this year’s Grammys. And Kate Moss, who paved the way with her successful collections for Topshop, is expanding to a handbag line with luxury accessories brand Longchamp. Elle Macpherson, Liya Kebede, Lily Cole and Natalia Vodianova are just a few more of the beauties on board with the trend.
