Celebrities are pairing their red dresses with an unexpected nail polish color—blue! Busy Philipps updated her French manicure with cobalt tips when she wore a floral Hawaiian frock, Eva Longoria opted for a steely metallic navy to pair with her Alberta Ferretti halter, and Emma Stone lacquered on a pale dusty blue when she wore embroidered Lanvin. This is also a look Beyonce tried—she wore a punchy azure manicure with a red Temperley dress for her first appearance since delivering daughter Blue Ivy in February. This season, Lanvin released a copper and black color-block dress with one out-of-the-ordinary addition—a Swarovski crystal snake wrapped around the neck and winded down the left side of the body. It’s not often we see reptile replicas incorporated into designs in forms other than prints, and celebrities immediately gravitated to the distinctive look. Jennifer Lopez wore the serpent style in Montreal yesterday, and Emma Stone chose it for a Golden Globes party in January. What’s old is new again! Fifteen-year-old Chloe Moretz recently landed the leading role in the forthcoming remake of Carrie, a character first made famous by Sissy Spacek in 1976.
