Miley Cyrus: “I’ll Wear a Two-Piece Any Time I Can”

When is the right time to wear a belly-baring dress? According to Miley Cyrus, it’s always. “I’ll wear a two-piece any time I can,” the 19-year-old told InStyle.com recently. Her most recent skin-showing look happened a few weeks ago when she wore Emilio Pucci to the Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games, a movie starring boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. “It was the night I wanted to look the way that I would think he would like,” she said of how she made her choice. “He really liked it.” And what she liked most wasn’t the revealing aspect—it was the skirt. “The band on top was big and gave a good waist, but it showed curves still. Look who brought some sexy back to the SAG Awards! Kyra Sedgwick‘s red-hot Emilio Pucci gown featured additional peekaboo side slits, the backside of Julie Bowen‘s magenta Temperley London look draped like a reverse cowlneck, Angelina Jolie‘s halter Jenny Packham design cut just above her bottom, and Ahna O’Reilly‘s crimson Nha Khanh style fully exposed her vertebrae. And The Help star told InStyle.com she chose her look for that exact reason: “What you see is what you get,” she told us on the red carpet. “I tried on a number of dresses, but I loved this one right away. I wanted something sleek and modern.” Way to go, ladies—we’ve got your back!

Noomi Rapace: See Her Red Carpet Style!

After getting to know Noomi Rapace as the original Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, the actress now stars in a stateside blockbuster, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. We caught up with her during her red carpet moment at the Los Angeles premiere to talk style: “I like designers who take risks, and are a bit more edgy,” said Rapace, who chose pieces by Emilio Pucci and Valentino recently (shown). “I was a punk girl when I was young and I have that inside me, so I like things that are glamorous but a bit more edgy.” See more photos in the gallery now.

Gwyneth Paltrow got her hands on Emilio Pucci’s spring 2012 collection early. Recognize the midriff-baring dress on the right? It’s her Emmys look from last weekend! And the style the Outstanding Guest Actress of the year wore is just one of the ultra-sexy looks from the label’s latest lineup, which included Brigitte Bardot-inspired day and night looks with revealing lace inserts and see-through fabrics. Traditional vibrant Pucci prints (a favorite of Jennifer Lopez) also made an appearance, reinterpreted in a fresh, modern way on beautiful, billowy long skirts.
