Louise Roe Tells InStyle All About Her Fashion Star Outfit, Week 5

This week on Fashion Star I wanted to switch things up and try a menswear-inspired look. This berry-colored suit is from Theory, and I love how the pant is cropped enough to show off the ankle straps on my cobalt Monika Chaing heels! The graphic print shirt underneath pulls out the purple and blue tones from the rest of my outfit; it’s from one of my favorite labels in the whole world, Tibi. Because the look is quite masculine, I kept my hair girly with soft curls, and because I wanted the vibe to be more evening—rather than business formal—I went for a smoky eye. I love this episode. The designers’ creations are super chic!

Dallas Season 2, Episode 6: The Scoop on Elena’s Lace Look

The Ewings went head-to-head in another intense Dallas episode last night—but there’s lots of love behind the scenes! Costume designer Rachel Sage Kunin, who outfitted Jordana Brewster as Elena (with Jesse Metcalfe as Christopher Ewing) in these ALC and Theory separates, says she couldn’t have more fun with her leading lady. “Jordana and I have such fun outfitting Elena together. We find great joy in shopping and playing around with clothing, trying new and different pieces on,” Sage Kunin told InStyle.com. “We found this ALC top and Theory pant on one of our fabulous excursions to Neiman Marcus.” Classic! The weather is officially nippy, so we’ve been sifting through our closets to unearth the best boots, sweaters, and scarves from last year—but sometimes, a girl just needs to update her wardrobe. Ashley Madekwe’s Revenge Style: Her Red Gucci Coat

An all-new episode of Revenge aired last night, and we caught up Ashley Madekwe to get the inside scoop on her outfit. “We had the misfortune of trying to shoot winter scenes during spring in L.A. when there were very few coats left in stores, but we managed to snag this gorgeous Gucci number,” she told InStyle.com. And what was underneath? “I’m wearing a grey wool Theory dress and the Burberry ankle boots that have been with me since the pilot. We felt the outfit was looking a little conservative so we added some sass with a pair of plaid Rag & Bone gloves.” Nice touch!
