Pippa Middleton, it’s been a while since we’ve seen you! After sitting out the Olympics—we were hoping for at least one spotting with her cheerleader sister Catherine—the royal-in-law emerged to walk the red carpet at last night’s Shadow Dancer premiere in London. She turned to Alice Temperley’s Alice line for her look, one of her favorite British labels, and chose the Sweetheart Ruby dress featuring a black stretch bodice and white lace neckline. “They’re completely easy and wonderful to work with, and they look great in the clothes,” Temperley told InStyle.com of outfitting the Middletons. “They know exactly what they like.” The look is actually still available (though probably not for long) for $225, down from $450 at temperleylondon.com. You can also find on sale for $253 at farfetch.com.

Pippa Middleton attended a friend’s wedding in Somerset, England this weekend wearing a look by one of her favorite designers—Alice Temperley! (She also wore Temperley to her sister’s wedding reception.) The royal-in-law paired her embroidered shirt dress with black pumps, a netted fascinator, and a jeweled clutch. “They’re the most humble, down-to-earth people I’ve ever dressed,” Temperley told InStyle.com of outfitting the Middletons. “They’re completely easy and wonderful to work with, and they look great in the clothes. They know exactly what they like.” Tell us, what do you think of Pippa Middleton’s latest look?

British department store John Lewis tapped Alice Temperley to create a more affordable range, called Somerset by Temperley. ”I wanted it to be very much a collection of essentials,” the designer told The Telegraph. Shoppers can expect to see “feminine and functional” looks, like the ones loved by the Temperley’s celebrity clients Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Heidi Klum. The 60-piece line will launch September 4th, with partywear expected in October. And while there aren’t any John Lewis outposts in the US, the store does ship stateside.

Temperley London’s signature romantic aesthetic was in full-effect for the label’s new collection, named Ophelia. An assortment of 21 draped and embellished gowns ranged from goddess-like Grecian numbers numbers to straight-from-the-garden strapless ball gowns. To complete the fairy tale, designer Alice Temperley finished the designs with embroidery, ruffles and, of course, an abundance of lace. See our favorite Temperley looks in the gallery, as well as more of our top picks from spring 2013 Bridal Fashion Week.
Look who brought some sexy back to the SAG Awards! Kyra Sedgwick‘s red-hot Emilio Pucci gown featured additional peekaboo side slits, the backside of Julie Bowen‘s magenta Temperley London look draped like a reverse cowlneck, Angelina Jolie‘s halter Jenny Packham design cut just above her bottom, and Ahna O’Reilly‘s crimson Nha Khanh style fully exposed her vertebrae. And The Help star told InStyle.com she chose her look for that exact reason: “What you see is what you get,” she told us on the red carpet. “I tried on a number of dresses, but I loved this one right away. I wanted something sleek and modern.” Way to go, ladies—we’ve got your back!
