The Hamptons was even more stylish than usual this weekend, thanks to Gwyneth Paltrow and Stella McCartney who hosted an English garden party for Goop in Amagansett, N.Y. on Friday. Unsurprisingly, both wore casual looks from the Stella McCartney Resort 2014 collection, and each looked chic in white and blue while celebrating Goop’s digital edition, a weekly lifestyle magazine that curates tips and advice to help readers feel inspired in all areas of life, from food to fashion. The pair also feted their upcoming Goop clothing collaboration, Stella McCartney x Goop, launching in September (though what exactly the partnership will entail is yet to be revealed). For the past few weeks, Lily Collins has been on our radar for the amazing sartorial choices she turns out premiere after premiere for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. We’re loving her ladylike edge, not to mention the dark lip and sleek hairstyles she often pairs with each look. From crop tops to cut-outs, Collins has taken on some of summer’s biggest trends and solidified herself as a style star. At Comic-Con 2013 in San Diego, she paired a crop top with high-waisted shorts by Paper London, while her bold, fitted Versace number made for a sleek, fashion-forward ensemble in New York City. We also loved the cut-out Cushnie et Ochs dress she wore in Los Angeles, and the bustled Stella McCartney minidress she chose for a London event. London designer Stella McCartney crossed the pond (and brought the rainy English weather with her) to debut her resort 2014 collection in New York City, and more than a few of her celebrity fans stepped out to fete her designs. Cameron Diaz and Jessica Seinfeld arrived to the tented garden space in lower Manhattan, wearing McCartney’s looks, as did Naomi Watts and Amy Poehler who were spotted sipping on the night’s signature rosemary sprig martinis infused with Beluga Vodka. Madonna stopped by towards the end of the evening to lend her support to her longtime friend. Click through the gallery to see more photos.

Kim Kardashian’s maternity style has turned heads and started conversations, as the reality star has not shied away from curve-hugging silhouettes and sky-high stilettos throughout her pregnancy. And her shopping jaunt in New York’s Tribeca neighborhood yesterday was no different: She strode across the downtown sidewalk in a black Stella McCartney dress and matching Valentino cardigan. However, it’s the footwear that’s our favorite part of this outfit because the sandals are a little ode to her boyfriend and father of her unborn baby Kanye West. The wing-covered heels are part of the collection Giuseppe Zanotti designed in honor of West’s Cruel Summer album last year—the white pair she’s wearing are from last season, but this spring they’re available in a black and gold version, shown here. Find them for $1,500 on colette.fr.

But once there, he discovers the world isn’t quite as abandoned as everyone assumed. Watch the thrilling trailer here.

InStyle‘s Fashion Director, Cindy Weber Cleary, is busy at Paris Fashion Week, picking out her favorite looks for fall. And last night, the honor went to Stella McCartney‘s oversize topper. “In a season of great, big coats, this one from Stella McCartney was a stand-out,” says Weber Cleary. Indeed—and we’re sure McCartney’s front row, including Jessica Alba and Nicole Richie, agreed, too. Click through to see more of Cindy’s top picks.
After today’s Stella McCartney show during Paris Fashion Week, it’s clear that nobody borrows from the boys quite like Stella. (Further proof could be found in the front row, where Jessica Alba worked the label’s crystal-embroidered slim suit.) Menswear fabrics like plaid and pinstripes covered chic sweater dresses, adorable minis, and hooded parkas. Though black, white, and gray covered much of the relaxed designs, bright purple and blue spots punctuated the show. Twisted-strap stilettos and ultra-wearable chunky platforms finished off the boy-meets-girl aesthetic. See our favorite looks in the gallery.
