Olivia Palermo brightened up the New Yorkers for Children Spring Dinner Dance in this sunny design—“I feel like Big Bird!” she told InStyle.com—and also brightened the day of its designer, Katie Ermilio. “She’s one of the younger designers I really want to support,” Palermo said of why she chose the look, a silk cap-sleeve piece with a jewel neckline and tulle-lined skirt, which she accessorized with a jeweled Zara belt and a clutch and shoes by Jimmy Choo. And Ermilio appreciates the style star’s encouragement: “I love Olivia’s ability to make a style completely her own,” the designer said.
