In keeping with her retro style, Rachel Zoe looked to fashion icons Jane Birkin and Talitha Getty for spring inspiration. The result was a flawless combination of Birkin’s “androgynous cool” and Getty’s “effortless glamour,” that yielded wide-leg slacks, slouchy sweaters, and (of course) crisp suiting. And what would be a Zoe show without a sequin or two? The standout sparklers included a rose gold gown and cool gray separates: a relaxed maxiskirt and paillette sweater. Throw in killer accessories—like sheer booties, equestrian caps and piles of gold jewelry—and you could see Zoe (or any of her celebrity clients) turning heads in these looks. Iman Loves Her Rachel Zoe Heels—Even With a Broken Foot!

Supermodel, designer and all-around icon Iman launched her Destination IMAN website last night in a characteristically towering pair of heels designed by Rachel Zoe. The only catch? She was nursing a broken foot. ”You know why it works?” she told InStyle.com. “Because the heel is thick.” Pal Zoe had a different theory. “Iman is the eternal supermodel slash superwoman,” she said. “She actually can do anything.”

First Look: Rachel Zoe Puts Her Style Stamp on Jockey

Rachel Zoe has a new fashion venture! The stylist-turned-designer signed on to curate Jockey‘s fall range, which means she’s picking her favorite shapewear and lingerie from the label’s latest offerings, and marking them with tags that read “Preferred by Rachel Zoe.” The lineup is priced between $11 and $57, and Zoe’s selections will be available later this month in Jockey stores and online, followed by major retailers like Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, and Kohl’s in October. “Style starts from within, and having the right foundation is critical to the ultimate success of your outfit,” Zoe said. We know what her clients will be wearing under their red carpet gowns!

Rachel Zoe just released images of her forthcoming resort collection—hitting stores this winter—and it’s packed with color, color, color. The designer introduced intense hues ranging from vibrant cobalt prints to neon gowns and a to-die-for scarlet column. Zoe’s signature black also made appearances, paired mostly with white for maximum impact. The suits, skirts and dresses got a major dose of cool from Zoe’s covetable accessories, including sheer booties, oversize sunnies and structured totes. Party Weekend: Celebrity-Packed Polo Classic and More!

There’s no better way to celebrate summer in New York City than a polo match! Rachel Zoe (in Rachel Zoe collection), Jennifer Morrison (in Yves Saint Laurent), Leslie Bibb (in Monique Lhuillier), Minka Kelly (in Z Spoke by Zac Posen), Zoe Saldana (in Theyskens’ Theory), and Padma Lakshmi (in Calypso) were just some of the many stars who attended the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, held at Liberty State Park in Jersey City on Saturday afternoon. It was a new experience for some of the guests—“First time!” Bibb exclaimed—while others were longtime veterans—“It’s like my hundredth,” said Zoe, who had the honor of throwing out the first ball. “It just blows my mind that you can play a sport with such a graceful and huge animal,” Saldana told InStyle.com. “And they look like they enjoy it, too! That makes me happy.” During half-time, the crowd took a break from sipping Veuve champagne to stomp the divots Pretty Woman-style before a backdrop of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline.
