Kohl’s already has a long list of designer and celebrity partners—Vera Wang, Lauren Conrad, and Jennifer Lopez among them—and now it’s going one step further with the launch of DesigNation. The concept is simple: limited-edition collections by cool designers you already love. First up: Narciso Rodriguez, arriving in stores and at kohls.com in early November. Celebrities including Jessica Alba, Jennifer Lawrence, and Kristen Stewart love the Cuban-American designer’s clean lines and architectural inspirations. He brings all that and more to this collection, but at a fraction of the price of his signature line. Click through the gallery to preview the entire fall and holiday-ready line, inspired by a trip the designer took to Istanbul.

This photo of Michelle Williams walking her dog, Lucky, in Portland, combines two—nay, three!—of our favorite things. First, there’s an adorable puppy, and it’s no big secret how obsessed we are with celebrities’ pets. Secondly, there’s Michelle, who we can never get enough of—whether she’s wearing stripes, sporting polka dots, or just generally nerding out. And last (but definitely not least), there’s Narciso Rodriguez, who designed the clothes Michelle is wearing on her leisurely afternoon stroll. And not only that! These pieces are from his Instanbul-inspired DesigNation collection for Kohl’s, which isn’t even out yet! The line hits stores in November. So, yeah, that’s how “lucky” Michelle and her puppy are.
Plus, check out more celebrity pets!
Narciso Rodriguez presented a sleek spring lineup filled with clothes that will take you seamlessly from day to night. There were effortless separates (think ultra-flattering trousers and tough-chic tanks) perfect for 9-to-5, and sexy slipdresses for an evening out. Pops of blood orange and fuchsia infused the collection with a burst of energy (should you be lagging by day’s end). Also on display was the designer’s newly-launched shoe collection—the high wedges are another around the clock winner. See our favorite looks in the gallery!

Serena co-stars Jennifer Lawrence (in Narciso Rodriguez) and Bradley Cooper reunited at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual installation luncheon, held at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Cooper kicked off the afternoon by introducing the HFPA’s President, while Mad Men star Christina Hendricks accepted grants on behalf of documentary programs. The event served for a good cause, too, with the HFPA donating over $1.5 million to non-profit entertainment-related organizations and scholarship programs. Narciso Rodriguez is about to get a lot more budget-friendly! Kohl’s just tapped the designer to launch a limited-run capsule collection this fall, WWD reports. While no details are available on the line just yet, we hope to see the classic cuts and ladylike shifts that have made him a red carpet favorite with celebrities like Jessica Alba, Claire Danes, and Michelle Obama. When Narciso Rodriguez wants Claire Danes to know how amazing she looks in his designs, he texts her himself! Like last week, when the actress stopped by the Tribeca Film Festival in a sexy hot pink Rodriguez look. “I sent her a text saying, ‘Thank you for making me look so good,’” the designer told us at a benefit for his alma mater, Parsons the New School for Design. “And that’s on top of being a really great friend and a woman who’s so amazing, so beautiful and talented and courageous and intelligent. She really is all that. And I’m proud to call her my friend.” Now that’s a sweet relationship!
