Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge has so many events coming up on her social calendar—a baby on the way isn’t stopping her!—and that means we can expect to see her in some new (covetable) clothes, too. So, we’re doing some style prep for the Princess, picking out a look we’d like to see her wear for her next appearance. On deck: Easter Sunday. Here’s what we’d love to see her in at a church service—for Kate, RepliKates, and beyond.
With her bump becoming more prominent, MaxMara‘s dusty yellow design ($2,046 at matchesfashion.com), features a silk chiffon and a floral lace bodice for a looser fit, without sacrificing elegance. To top it off, add a sculptural fascinator from Philip Treacy London ($847 at lovehats.com), a neutral box clutch by Expressions NYC ($48 at nordstrom.com), as well as a few pieces from her favorite shops, like Links of London pearl drop earrings ($590 at linksoflondon.com), and her go-to nude L.K. Bennett pumps ($345 at shopbop.com).

Nina Dobrev celebrated her stylist, Ilaria Urbinati, at THR‘s Top Stylist Luncheon, which is why she chose to wear this strawberry MaxMara pantsuit—a look she said she chose to reference the first time she and Urbinati worked together. “I wanted to pay homage to her. The first job Ilaria and I worked together on was the 2011 Emmys, when I wore Donna Karan‘s red dress, so I wanted to honor that,” Dobrev told InStyle.com. So sweet! And she went on to say why their partnership, which includes Elie Saab, Monique Lhuillier, and Naeem Khan dresses, works so well: “If something doesn’t work, even if it’s a big designer look, she’s not going to make me wear it just because. It’s whatever I feel best in and what is event-appropriate. That’s why I love her so much.” If only every closet came with an Ilaria!

The LWD (little white dress) is summer’s answer to the LBD, and celebrities love the look. “I’m a big fan of something feminine, but also strong, and I feel like this gets it,” Minka Kelly told InStyle.com of her Z Spoke by Zac Posen lace design at the Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic this month. And other stars agree, including Gabrielle Union, Nina Dobrev (in MaxMara), and Lauren Conrad (in Sparkle & Fade for Urban Outfitters top and a Paper Crown skirt). As for tips for how to wear this look with confidence, Kelly offered a few words of wisdom: “As long as you’re comfortable and as long as you’re confident, it will be sexy.” Keep that in mind when getting dressed this weekend!

This weekend, Kate Winslet attended a charity gala in London wearing a white Max Chaoul dress tied with a bold black sash. Zoe Saldana rocked a similar look a few months ago, when she wore a MaxMara frock with a ruffled neckline. With the first day of spring upon us and sunny skies in the future, this is the perfect look to kick off the season, which is why we rounded up our favorite cinched white dresses to get you in the mood for spring. At last night’s Crystal + Lucy Awards in L.A., Vanessa Hudgens admitted that she’d taken a pair of scissors to her MaxMara gown before walking out the door. “It was too formal, so to make it more of a cocktail dress I chopped the slip,” said Hudgens, whose DIY alterations took the look of the black chiffon floor-length gown from demure to daring. “My stylist and I always end up reworking dresses. I like to have fun with fashion.” Boyfriend Zac Efron wasn’t on hand to give his opinion, but the actress did get a thumbs up from stylish pal Nikki Reed. “Nikki and I went over our outfits earlier today, but then I decided to add my own flair,” Hudgens said of the last-minute decision to shorten her hem by several inches. The finishing touches to her custom creation? “A pair of YSL heels and a Chanel clutch, because they both go with everything.”
With her stunning fashion choices and sparkling smile, Zoe Saldana has proven she’s as much a force on the red carpet as she is on the big screen, and this week the actress was honored with Women in Film’s 2010 MaxMara Face of the Future award. The celebration began on Monday night in L.A. where the Avatar star wowed guests, including Selma Blair and Lake Bell, in a gray MaxMara tank and ruffled skirt for the Italian label’s chic dinner at Sunset Tower’s Terrace Room. Saldana is expected to wear MaxMara again to accept her award tonight at the Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards, which also honors Courteney Cox.
