The mystery behind Marchesa’s gorgeous gowns will be revealed tonight! Lifetime is set to air Project Runway Spotlight: Marchesa at 10/9c, a behind-the-scenes half-hour special about the line Project Runway judge Georgina Chapman co-founded with Keren Craig. “You get a glimpse inside of our shows. Then you get a glimpse inside an award season and the process behind the making of a dress,” Chapman told reporters during a Q&A session. Plus, there will be interviews with those who love the line—and there are a lot of them. “There are people talking about the dresses, actresses who’ve worn the dresses, and editors talking about Marchesa,” Chapman added. It’s a big day for baby news! Not only is the Duchess of Cambridge pregnant, so is fellow Brit Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman! Chapman and her film producer husband, Harvey Weinstein, told the New York Post the news at the White House holiday party. Their new addition will be the little brother or sister to their first child, two-year-old India Rose, as well as three daughters from Weinstein’s first marriage. Congratulations!

The 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards took place in Frankfurt last night! Germany’s own Heidi Klum hosted the evening, playing up her supermodel expertise by exclusively wearing Versace for the red carpet and during the show, kicking off her fashion show with a lace-up teal and gold design from the label’s spring collection. It was just one of the over-the-top wow-gowns to hit the red carpet, where she was joined by Kim Kardashian (in a Stephane Rolland design with a high-low hem), Taylor Swift (in ivory—not red!—J. Mendel), and Rita Ora (in Marchesa‘s blood red ballgown). Click through the gallery to see more MTV EMA 2012 fashion!
Season two of Project Runway All Stars premieres tonight! This time, there are more alums back to try for a chance at redemption, including memorable faces like Kayne Gillaspie, Suede, and Uli Herzner. Up for grabs this time around is a $150,000 grand prize and the opportunity to design a capsule collection for Nine West. Whether or not they’ll be “in or out” will be determined by supermodel host Carolyn Murphy as well as judges Isaac Mizrahi and Marchesa‘s Georgina Chapman. Considering this all-star cast, the competition is sure to be as fierce as ever—let’s just hope they can make it work! Tune in tonight at 9/8c on Lifetime to see who makes the cut.

It’s been a lovely week on Instagram! Our daily feed of fashion, celebrity, and beauty buzz got an extra dose of pretty from Bridal Fashion Week, where our editors snapped from the front row of all your favorite shows. We captured details at Amsale, where models sported bright lips, caught the setting sun behind Marchesa‘s ornate gowns, and were blown away by the intricate veils on Reem Acra‘s runway. Check out all of this week’s bridal photos in the gallery below, and come back every Saturday for all of our favorite shots.
Not all of us are like Blake Lively and can call upon Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman and co-founder Keren Craig to create our wedding dress at the drop of a hat. But we can get something from them free of charge—tips for gown shopping! “We always say pick a dress that makes you feel confident, beautiful and something classic—nothing too edgy that you’re going to regret in twenty years time,” Craig told InStyle at Martha Stewart’s 11th Annual Bridal Fashion Week Party in New York City. Just this week, the pair showcased their new fall 2013 bridal collection during Bridal Fashion Week, which mixed timeless elements (ballgowns, lace) with current styles (peplum, color), proving their point that classic can be fashion-forward. “Every woman wants to look her most beautiful, and that is the key to bridal,” said Chapman. So beautifully true! See Marchesa’s latest bridal lineup in the gallery.
While we wait for the reveal of Blake Lively’s custom Marchesa wedding gown, the label’s designer Georgina Chapman and co-founder Keren Craig gave us something new to buzz about at their fall 2013 bridal runway show. The ethereal collection, inspired by the architectural iris and romantic Bulgarian Rose, included feminine elements like cascading silk chiffon petals, scalloped chantilly lace and ruffles all topped off with Miriam Haskell’s dreamy glass pearl earrings and hairpins. In addition to the subtle hits of gold and silver, blush peeked through the sculpted bodices and got us back to thinking about Lively’s gown, which featured rose gold embroidery and hand-draping. Check out all of the looks in the gallery.
