Oct 1, 2011 @ 3:00 pm

The celebrity-favorite label Isabel Marant presented a sporty, cool-girl collection during Paris Fashion Week today. The designer paired bright knits with washed denim, all made with ultra soft, worn-in fabrics. Patchwork covered dresses and jeans, while jersey tie-dye jackets and track pants came in bright, cheery colors. For evening, she created sexy body-conscious minis in dark gunmetal gray and chunky knit dresses, and finished each look with sexy single-strap sandals with ankle bands. See some of our favorite looks from the spring 2012 lineup in the gallery.

Dec 1, 2010 @ 11:54 am

If you’re anything like us, you woke up with an extra spring in your step today because Net-a-Porter launched their big end of season sale! But when we started to click through, we were heartbroken to discover that most of the items aren’t being sold in many sizes. Sigh. So, we’ve rounded up a few of our favorites that are still available in a nice range of sizes. You won’t find bargain basement prices, but if you’re looking to splurge on a bit of high fashion, there’s great stuff to be found including Isabel Marant crystal earrings reduced from $550 to $385. Kate Middleton‘s go-to brand, Issa, has a black sequined dress at half price for $732.50. Emma Watson fans, this one’s for you: the belted Carven dress she recently wore on the Today show has been marked down to $726. Rag & Bone desert boots originally sold for $450 and are now $315. Shop fast though—we can’t promise these chic pieces will be around much longer!

Faux Fur Is Fab This Season!

Nov 3, 2010 @ 4:00 pm

The following is a post from one of our favorite blogs, Fabsugar.

Fur details are ideal fall accents—they add just a hint of luxury and contrast perfectly against utility-style jackets, blazers, or any cozy cover, really. Kylie Minogue‘s faux fur-lined jacket is a great lesson in the kind of dressing I’m after. The full fur-lining is just enough interest to play against a solid coat but not enough to distract from cool layers and a Fab pair of boots.

Isabel Marant‘s covetable Spring 2010 collection was an instant hit on Net-a-porter.com, selling out almost the second it would hit the site, so it should come as no surprise that the luxury e-boutique has decided to carry Marant’s second line, Etoile by Isabel Marant. Known for her relaxed French style, Marant’s designs (fans include Natalie Portman and Diane Kruger) effortlessly blend impeccable tailoring with bohemian details and Etoile captures all of this covetable aesthetic at almost half the price of her collection pieces. We can’t wait to get our hands on the printed tea dress, wool boucle jacket and draped black skirt for fall. To shop the entire collection, visit Net-A-Porter.com.
