David Beckham Strips Down in New H&M Bodywear Ads!

There’s nothing like sexy shots of David Beckham to really heat up an otherwise normal (and chilly) Thursday afternoon! H&M has just released the black-and-white images of the soccer star modeling his second underwear, er, Bodywear collection for the Swedish retailer, and there’s nothing underwhelming about them. The photos show Mr. Victoria Beckham in holiday pieces from his cozy-looking eponymous line, including hoodies, drawstring pants, and henleys—but we’ll be honest and admit that we’re focusing on the impressive abs and tattooed skin underneath. Back in 2006, Beckham allegedly insured his entire body for a whopping $195 million—the largest insurance policy in all of sports history—and these H&M images are quite the reminder why! H&M Launches Maison Martin Margiela Collaboration and More

H&M celebrated its new designer collaboration with the Parisian house Maison Martin Margiela in Manhattan last night, and celebrities came to catch a glimpse of this new high-low partnership. Kanye West met Sarah Jessica Parker for the first time on the red carpet—they complimented each other on their Margiela looks—while Julianne Moore, Mena Suvari, and Selma Blair also made appearances. “I’m so excited to go in and see the collection, and just to be a part of it,” Blair said (though she got her hands on the collab’s LBD early and wore to the party). The bash included a boutique where guests could purchase goodies, and displayed art installations choreographed by Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker featuring Margiela-clad dancers using their bodies on the surface of sand canvases to create designs. Wild, but so totally Margiela. The lineup includes pieces for men and women and lands in H&M stores November 16th.

Maison Martin Margiela for H&M: What to Expect

H&M tapped avant-garde Maison Martin Margiela for its next collaboration—and here is a first look at what you can expect. Sticking to the conceptual ideas MMM is known for, the collection includes seasonally-appropriate and wildly oversize coats in neutral colors, metallic leggings, wide-leg trousers, and more. Plus, the menswear options will inspire you to leave the store with something for the man in your life, especially the tailored coat. “The democracy of our fashion has always been at the center of our creativity, and the collaboration with H&M allows us to push this instinct further,” the label said in a statement. “We will bring together the contrasting universes of the two houses in ways that will surprise all.” Click through the gallery to preview the collection, and shop it in H&M stores on November 15th.

H&M Confirms Luxe Line “& Other Stories”

H&M is going high-end! Perhaps inspired by their stylish celebrity faces like Lana Del Rey and David Beckham, the Swedish retailer is launching its first luxury fashion line called & Other Stories, set to debut in Europe next spring. The women’s collection—which will include accessories like shoes, bags, and jewelry in addition to clothing, all designed at the brand’s ateliers in Paris and Stockholm—aims to help female clientele “create their own personal story.” (Pictured is the “mood board” they used for inspiration.) Now excuse us while we book our springtime trip to Paris.

Christina Perri’s New Music Video “Distance”: The Fashion Details

While Christina Perri’s Twilight soundtrack hit A Thousand Years is still on the iTunes top downloads list, her latest single—and its new music video, which just came out this weekend—is poised for another top spot. “Distance,” a slow melody about falling in love (and sung with love song master Jason Mraz), features a stripped-down version of the 25-year-old musician, a style she chose to reflect the purity of the song. “There’s something about the simplicity of the lyrics, with the openness of my heart, I just didn’t want anything dramatic,” she told InStyle.com of her look, a relaxed little white dress and bare feet. “I wanted classy and simple.” Together with stylist Erik Rudy, the pair sorted through hundreds of designer dresses before settling on a cap-sleeve, scoop-neck style from H&M. “I wanted to look exactly the way I look right now in this video, in a dress I would wear at home or on stage, in my jewelry, with the minimal makeup I actually wear, and just being me,” she said. “This video is supposed to take you into my reality, not a dream, a real life experience of mine.” With lyrics like, “Please don’t stand so close to me, I’m having trouble breathing, I’m afraid of what you’ll see right now,” it reflects reality for anyone who has ever fallen in love. Maison Martin Margiela is bringing its fashion to the people! H&M officially announced this morning that it is collaborating with the outré French fashion house—favored by as varied a Hollywood crowd as Kanye West and Rachel Bilson—to create a capsule collection, launching worldwide this fall. “The democracy of our fashion has always been at the center of our creativity, and the collaboration with H&M allows us to push this instinct further,” said Belgian-born, Paris-based Margiela. “We will bring together the contrasting universes of the two houses in ways that will surprise all.” We can’t wait!
