The Good Wife Fashion Details: Season 4, Episode 3

Oct 15, 2012 @ 2:49 pm

The Good Wife costume designer Daniel Lawson gave InStyle.com the exclusive inside scoop about what Julianna Margulies and guest star Rita Wilson wore on last night’s new episode. “Julianna’s character Alicia was going up against her nemesis Viola (Wilson), and I wanted her to look great,” Lawson said of his inspiration for the episode. This week, we see her in Christian Dior and Moschino—a match for Wilson’s Etro and Valentino look (above), as well as The Good Wife’s out-of-office look, in a Donna Karan sweater and Prada boots (below). “We love when she is home,” said Lawson. “She looks so soft and tactile. There is a real relaxed quality to her look.” Click through the gallery for more details straight from the set!

Why wear one amazing outfit a day when you can wear three? That’s what Jennifer Lopez did when she hit the City of Lights yesterday to promote her new film The Back-Up Plan. The actress arrived at the exclusive Hotel de Crillon in a ruffled Etro maxidress, wore a Paule Ka white skirt suit while lunching and shopping in Paris’s hip Marais district with her sister (she was spotted browsing at Lanvin and the boutique Bel Air) and finally headed for the airport in a black leather paneled Gianfranco Ferre long-sleeved dress and C. Viviani pyramid cocktail ring. The only thing the fashion icon didn’t change? Her black Loewe “Amazona”  handbag. Tres chic!
